- Lisa's POV -
Jennie stopped her car by a curb, switching to park mode before giving me a soft look. "Well thank you. Saved myself 10 minutes of standing outside in the cold until my uber would have arrived." I made eye contact whilst admitting.
"Exactly so you better pay me back at some point for making me do this." She confidently spoke back. "Excuse me?! You were the one that offered the ride and now in return of not even knowing it, i need to pay you back?"
"A deal is a deal. I don't do anything from the heart anymore." She kept her bravery visible. "Okay, okay. If that was a deal we made than sure, i'll pay you back. Just wait." I replied, knowing well enough that i'll think over about this as soon as i get in my house.
"Either way, thanks. Get home safe yourself as a layer of snow has already filled the roads." I unbuckled my seat belt. "I hope you break a bone while walking over to your place." She answered sharply in return. "I'll definitely make sure to do that for the sake of full filling your desire." I had already opened the door, leaning down to give in for one last eye contact before closing the door.
I absorbed as her car sped off and soon out of my view. I gradually began walking along the sideway, the small distance over to my place. I unlocked the door and walked in, hearing as the house is quiet and dark. I stopped by the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water.
Roaming through my mind, the actual desire to take the paying back serious suddenly locked inside of me so i pulled my phone out and swiped up her number.
Jen: Listen, a deal is a deal, like you mentioned so what if i treat you to a dinner together? just the two of us this time for tomorrow night? :)
I set my phone on the counter, taking her reply time back to wash out my glass which i rushed since the notification came almost immediately.
Jen: That's more like it ;) i'm fully down! i'm picking the most expensive restaurant and will 8pm be good for you? <3
It felt almost unreal as i caught myself smiling as i read the message but nonetheless i started typing out my reply which suddenly was caught off from the sound of footsteps approaching the kitchen.
"Lisa? Why are you awake? Or did you only now come back?" Juliet came closer, rubbing her eyes to wake herself up more. "I- well. The studio needed come organization for a dance shoot so i sort of didn't catch how fast the time went by." I explained, sliding my phone in my pocket.
"Organization? In the late hours? What type of people are you paired up with, baby?" She gently wrapped her arms around my neck whilst questioning. "Great and successful people, gorgeous so i'm more than happy to help out when they need it." I caressed her waist, pulling us fully together.
"Do you realize how far apart we are drifting from how late you decide to work in?" She asked, forming a smile that did scare me for a second as she's starting to catch on my behavior about all this. "I don't decide it, that's how my life is right now. Might have had all the free time in the world before i decided to come back in the k-pop industry but i couldn't just sit still. Grow old and only be remembered as a member for blackpink? That's not my goal anymore." I shifted her off to a different topic.
"I genuinely hate but love you for that. It's stupid." She eased out, releasing a laugh. "You too thought, great career set up so i'm only taking notes from the best of the best." I smiled back to her. "Yeah, right, right. Now tomorrow you are all mine, i swear to god, i miss you too much besides you need a break yourself. This has been going on for too long."
Her words made me quiet for a few seconds. I knew that tomorrow was important for me but i couldn't confess that i have a plan to meet up with Jennie. That's gonna rile her up way too much to only know that Jennie and i have met again.
"I hope that your silence means you're trying to figure out and arrange a free schedule for tomorrow." Juliet's voice cut me back in reality and honestly i finally needed to push myself to not ruin something that we both love - this situationship.
I caressed her face and pulled her in for a kiss before grabbing her hand and leading her back upstairs, into our bedroom.
- Jennie's POV -
"Babe?!" Adam's voice traveled through the house as soon as i shut my front door. "Yes! I'm home!" I yelled back, dropping by coat on the hanger before walking further in and over to our bedroom.
"Finally you're home! I was actually starting to get worried." He stood off the bed, approaching me with concern. "You know how girls night can go. Have to talk about everything." I softly smiled to him, accepting the light peck he leaned into.
"You four are inseparable even after yours apart." He commented after i dropped down in the bed, giving out a sigh. "And that's what true friendships stand for." I replied back, absorbing him stop in front of the bed.
"Soo.. since these friends of yours received your attention for the evening maybe i can receive some for the night?" He slowly began crawling right on top of me with a seductive smirk. "Adam, i'm exhausted." I gave out a chuckle. "I'm not asking for much." His lips caressed my neck in a peck. "Only for a little bit."
