- Lisa's POV -
I parked outside Rosé's place and stepped outside my car, making my way to the front door and ringing the doorbell. "Hi? Wait, Lisa!" Valerie had opened the door, taking a second to recognize me. "Oh, hey! I'm here for Rosé." I politely spoke, her immediately offering me inside.
I stepped inside a bedroom, Rosé noticing me right away. "Look who is still alive." I plastered a smile on my face, scanning her out. "Oh don't even start it. I have heard enough from Valerie." She gave out a laugh, sitting up on the bed.
"Listen, as much as i would love to make fun of your and Jennie's state last night, i came here for a reason." I bravely crossed my arms, stopping by the bed. "This.." I pulled the phone out of my pocket. "I think you lost it." I handed it over to her, Rosé's face immediately forming pure shock.
"Oh my god! I straight up thought i lost it!" She happily took her phone. "Now what's up? Duo partying with Jennie? I know your friendship was close our debut days but now it continues? Keeping secrets?" I switched the topic, pushing her to reveal answers. "Okay now. Just because you returned my phone you think i'll lay out every detail Jennie and i talked about?"
"Besides, a friendship is the definition of trust so ima keep my mouth shut as long as Jennie speaks herself." She proudly replied. "You know, we got a friendship ourselves, don't we? Maybe just slip one small detail out so i get a clearer confirmation of what's going on."
"Lisa, secrets are secrets. They stay between the people that made them." She continued with her strong attitude. "It seems as i need to get you drunk because you already had your mouth yapping about our stall moment with Jennie and she didn't seem happy in the car that you spoke about it." I leaned closer with a smile.
"What secret is it if you knew that happened between you two? Besides what is happening? I should be bombarding you with questions because weren't you two over the break up that went down? And now the memories are just flooding back even though you both are taken?" She stood off the bed, making her way closer to me.
"Rosé, i'm genuinely a mess. But what am i interested is Jennie, what is going through her fucking mind? It's one thing to act like she does in an open relationship but she's married! I feel like it's such a careless appearance she's making of herself in our eyes."
"Listen, end your strict investigating mindset! If you knew what i know about what's going on with her than you'd take those words back immediately." She pressured her finger right on my chest, trying to prove a point in my eyes.
The sound of a few knocks on the door broke my concentration, Valerie revealing herself after carefully pushing the door open. "I didn't want to interrupt but the sound of your voices started to bring concern towards me about what's going on."
"Just being playful, everything's fine." Rosé pulled up a quick smile, giving glances to the both of us before passing her fiancée and out the bedroom. "Coffee, tea?" My eyes locked back on Valerie. "Coffee sounds great." I broke apart my tensed emotions and answered, following after her to the kitchen.
- Jennie's POV -
"Jennie, what the actual fuck!? I'm not gonna judge you for anything because we make our own decisions and pick how we live but what the fuck happened with you and Lisa last night? She was so fixated to find out what's going through your head and what you're doing with your life!" Rosé continued, my body freezing off as we had walked outside my house to have this conversation.
"Okay, what?! Nothing happened last night! The stall situation was completely stupid from my end but her and i promised to never bring it up again. Where is she suddenly getting this interest from to find shit out?"
"Jen, you have done something. I'm not that blind. Either Lisa is questioning the actions she's making or she believes your using her in some way." She kept the serious voice going, my thoughts taking a pause to process everything.
"Jennie, i don't need or want to know what is going on but remembering the talk we had last night, where you freely was basically saying fuck Adam and the marriage. Have you seriously became such a bitch? Just because there's less communication, no romance you plan to just fuck up completely everything rather than trying to fix it?"
"Rosé, i've had enough. I see your opinion and what you think of me. I might be in the wrong for a lot of stuff but the thing Adam and i have, i know what's under his skin and you wouldn't even believe it but his actions are worse than what i have done so far." I knocked down my annoyance and said, making my way back to the front door and inside, not a single word being spoke again.
- Rosé's POV -
I slammed my front door, throwing my jacket on the hanger before the realization of two voices coming from the living room filled my ears. In curiosity i walked over to be met with Valerie and Lisa, laughing mids a conversation.
"I guess someone decided to stick around longer." I pulled up a smile, glancing between the both of them. "Honestly i'm gonna be mad at you, love. Why haven't you invited Lisa over more often? The interests we share are so similar that we clicked immediately." My fiancée looked at me happily.
"Oh? Best friends already, i see." I spoke back, knowing deep down that this seems weird. "If i'm not welcomed in the house than i have no trouble on leaving." Lisa stood up, catching my vibe. "No, it's okay. How can your company bother me? We're friends." I kept my smile, seeming completely fine.
