- Lisa's POV -

I stayed put in my car, every minute absorbing as people kept leaving the house as the party had been over. My intention was to somehow catch Jennie alone and get a chance to talk to her again but my intuition was wrong as i watched the two walking down the set of stairs, arms wrapped around each other whilst getting in the uber by the road.

I was on the urge of just breaking down from confusion and anger that i got back out of my car, slamming the door shut and rushing up to the house again. I walked inside, noticing Valerie and Rosé cleaning up the area.

"Rosé, i need a minute to talk to you." I spoke out, catching both of their attentions. "Lisa? I thought you left." Valerie showed shock towards me but i only focused on Rosé, her soon enough giving in and making me follow after her to a different room.

"Now is this really how you form friendships nowadays?! Secrets, secrets! I can't share anything unless Jennie speaks about it first! How is it okay to not let me or someone that something like that is going on with Jennie?! You think that keeping an abusive relationship secret just because she doesn't want anyone to know is okay?!" I fired at her immediately.

"Lisa, what are you talking about?!" Rosé lit up with pure shock and confusion. "You're fucking disgusting. I'm not even gonna get started with why on earth is Jennie still messing with that asshole but you.. Was it really that hard to help her out of it? Try to find solutions to such a situation?" I looked deeply into her eyes, still seeing the utter confusion seeming through.

I didn't even wait for her answer anymore, turning back around to notice Valerie right by the door. I pushed past her and out the house, speeding off without hesitation.

--
I unlocked my front door and took my outdoor clothes off. Making my way to the bedroom in complete exhaustion yet Juliet was still awake, her eyes locking onto me right away.

"Hey. Feeling better? Quite sad you couldn't come to the birthday party." I said, pulling my hoodie off and throwing it on the chair near by. "Being sarcastic?" Juliet finally spoke, my attention traveling back on her. "No?" I took the rest of my clothes off, getting into something more comfortable.

"Lisa, we promised to be honest with each other." She continued before i finally laid down, ready to just fall sleep. "Are you really gonna fuck up my mood even more tonight? Raising unnecessary drama because you thought i was being sarcastic?" I turned my head towards her.

"Oh? Fuck up your mood even more? Let me guess who ruined it already. Was it Jennie? Was it?!" She got off the bed, staring down at me with seriousness. "Juliet, what?" I pulled myself sitting. "I heard your, oh so intense, interest to get some sort of information out of Valerie about Jennie. So now i'm waiting for answers." She crossed her arms, obviously not playing around.

"I think we promised something, didn't we? You wouldn't hang out with her. Okay! If there would come a time, you would inform me about it but no! All you did was ditch me and go to a stupid birthday party where she was! Do you not feel any guilt? Not a little bit? I was actually in pain, not feeling good but what did you do?"

I watched her walk to the door yet stop and turn around again. "You did absolutely nothing and at this point i feel like moving further with this situationship is gonna be a hard option to choose." She pulled the door open, disappearing from my view.

"Juliet! Wait!" I got up, running after her. "Juliet, stop!" We already had made it to the front door so i took my chance to grab her arm, flipping her around to look at me. "Please, listen to me! Let me speak!" I tried my best to convince her but it was obvious she was nowhere close to wanting to hear me out.

"We'll talk when you sleep off your exhaustion. You seem tired." She patted my shoulder with a forced smile, grabbing the door handle and leaving without hesitation.
