Pomni lying in the hospital bed unconscious with bandages around her head, a band-aid underneath her left eye, and her right in an arm sling. Gangle & Kinger standing in the room with the doctor. Zooble leaning against the wall outside of the patient's room

How is she, doctor? Kinger asked
W-will she be okay!? Gangle asked
She's doing fine, but I must let you all know that-

Zooble said angrily, grabbing the three's attention. They came out of the room quickly, seeing Zooble holding Jax against the wall by his shirt

She said in an annoyed tone. Zooble let of Jax as she rolled her eyes and walked off in the opposite direction

Everybody let out a sigh of relief, Jax quickly walked inside the room
Honestly, her current condition is probably the best-case scenario. But... From I'm not going to sugarcoat it, she took a very bad hit to the head.

Ragatha gasped with distraught, Gangle covered her mouth as tears began to build up in her eyes. Kinger dropped his head down

Yes, bknow you all are more than concerned about your friend here, but the best thing I can say is to go and get some rest. We'll call you when she wakes up.

Kinger looked back at Jax, seeing him holding onto Pomni's hand, gently caressing it as he stood up
L-lets... Let's give Jax some time alone... Looks like he needs it. He said

The three walked off. Spinel walked off as well. The doctor looked back at Jax, watching him sit down next to her

We'll be closing at 9, so you can have your time with her.
The doctor closed the door behind himself as he walked out.
Jax dropped his head down, he grabbed the rail of the bed with his other hand and squeezed tightly

-6 Days Later-

Jax walks down the hallway looking at his phone, seeing messages from Ragatha
"I hope you're going home to eat, shower, and rest. Not good to ignore your body's needs and hygiene."

Jax walked into the room, he looked up, still seeing Pomni unconscious. He walked over to his chair and sat back down. He exhaled
Thank goodness I left Jaxxy with Caine, I just hope his creepy ass dog doesn't eat him.

Jax looked out the window seeing the birds all flying together

'This feeling... It's so weird... I don't think I ever cared enough about a person to get aggressive... Because if that pink-haired girl didn't show up, I'd... No... Let me not say that...'
