Jax quickly runs down the hallway of the hospital, from a faint distance, he hears Pomni talking. Making him run faster. He quickly got to the room, seeing Pomni standing over an Ill Linda lying in bed

W-what's going on!? What happened?! Jax quickly asked
It's... It's not good. Pomni said in a heartbreaking tone She's dying...

Jax dropped his head as he walked into the room, standing next to Pomni
Turns out that she was diagnosed with cancer... And she doesn't have much time left...
What!? Jax exclaimed Did the doctor offer her any treatment!? Anything!?

No... They say it's pointless, so it's just best to let nature to take its course. Ponni said. Jax exhaled softly

Linda opened her eyes slowly, looking over at the pair standing over he
Hehehe... Linda giggled weakly
Well... look at you two... She said in a weakened raspy voice, struggling to talk

Linda! I-i'm... I'm-
It's fine... Really...

B-but you're dying! This isn't fine at all!

Yeah... So what... That's life... Everybody comes and goes... Just don't take life for granted... Look at your "Girl" here... She chuckled lightly

Pomni began to cry lightly as she tried to smile T-Th-thank you... Linda...

Hey... You two... I-if... You don't mind me... Asking for this... Favor... I- I... Would like a request...

S-sure thing... Mom. Pomni said as began to cry, struggling to hold a smile together. Jax grabbed Pomni's hand and held it tightly
Hehehe- Linda coughed as she tried to giggle
Wow... You two... Make a cute pair...
Pomni... Can you... make sure to... watch over Jax?

How much she's crying, I think it's gonna have to be the other way around. Jax said jokingly. Linda struggled to laugh
You know Lin- M-Mom! He corrected himself This isn't the best time to say this but this is the first time I ever called someone "Mom" so it feels kinda... Weird... Ya know.
