Georgia's heart raced 23 hard beats watching William, when he hugged her. Ease filled her uneasy mind, happy that her conviction turned out to be true. William was very much alive. Breathing. His life was still in danger but the big thing was he was safe. Right now, he sat on the living room couch. Rowan had told him about Dexter's worsening conditions and now that she tried to see his face, she could find the glimmer in his eyes. He was terrified. Trying to act all macho he thought he was supposed to be. From the couch, he exchanged some looks with Georgia, she couldn't ever understand those gestures he made. It all had been stated as dirty in her mind. Girls found him totally a charming hunk and Georgia hated to admit it from their first meet at the restaurant. The way he elucidated his charm to her, dreamy soft talks he had with her conversely with others it would be formal, with other girls it would be all macho again. She feared it, the power she had upon him but now it seemed to dissipate, she smiled to herself. Relaxed.

"Was it someone we know?" Cole's eyes sneered on Georgia who didn't try to bash in, tell them she was innocent.

"No." William said distinctly, his head resting on his hand, back inclined to the couch. He was back in his usual clothes which was a hoodie, that covered his wrists. Georgia scoffed recalling how he didn't mind revealing his upper cleavage in a shirt.
"You're engaged." William added, tracing the soft cover of the couch. She could paint a perfect portrait if he wasn't so moody and self-centered. Georgia softly hit her face for stealing glances of William. Pouty William. Sulky at times. But most of all, the domineering part would be his seriousness.
"I am." Cole's tone conceited.
"No. Shouldn't happen." William said and pursed his lips catching Georgia glancing at him, she looked down to her book.
"She is nosy and stupid, stated an encomium about how valid Georgia and Harold are."
"Stupid, right." William chuckled, acrimony in his tone and Georgia wanted to take Audrey's stand but she couldn't, wasn't she with whom he told we would cheat on her with?
"But, the engagement brother," he got on his feet, brushing his hand through his raven hair "Shouldn't turn into a marriage."
"I won't attend such a stupid wedding with a girl I just heard you stated as stupid."
"It was a show." Cole said and Georgia wondered if he forgot who's the older brother.
"Why are you siding with her anyway?" Cole crinkled his eyebrows at William, who nodded to himself and then smiled at him. No answer.
"Bubblegum, you might want to get back into your room." William said to Georgia, his eyes scanning her face and then her hair, confused she patted them.
"I am good." she stated and got back to her writing. Muddled whether to use acquired or obtain in her statement.
"Is she a threat? The threat?" Cole's tone uneven and deep. Acquire is much better she thought and wrote it and now selecting between revered or venerated. Then got a notification on her phone, she smiled watching Harold's message. I am home, she read in her mind.
"No."
"Then why?"
"Nothing important."
"William, we are in danger. Your life isn't completely safe, tell me what are you hiding about Audrey to me?"
A pause. Revered, she wrote.
"Speak out!"

"2 blood brothers can't sleep with the same girl." William yelled angrily.

Cole's voice lost its grip. Georgia's pen halted and she jerked up to watch Cole's lips parted, progressing to a jaw drop.
"You slept with her?" Cole asked, yelled.
"I-I nearly did and it would be awkward for me,"
"Awkward what for?"
"To see her, the vivid memory of me nearly, you know what I mean."
"William. William. You should've told me."
"I am sorry, Aurora and you can't happen." he said. Right Aurora that was her name. Georgia saw William walk towards the stairs, stopping in front of her.

"You can steal glances. I won't complain." he smiled and softly flicked her hair and ran upstairs.

Georgia completed writing her book and stretched her weary arms, her bottle was nearly empty so she took it and made her way out her room, everyone was probably already asleep and now, the lights of William's room which was just beside her was lit up in his fancy golden lights. Maybe he couldn't sleep, Georgia thought and walked through the room, the door was slightly open and she saw him sitting on his bed, hands resting oh his sheets. Worried he had a nightmare Georgia clasped her hand around the door handle and saw someone, sitting in front of him was Audrey. Her wrist bandaged with and William drew out a scissor from a box on his bed and took her hand in his, cut the excess part and shoved it to her back.
"Did my brother do this? Or your Rowan dashing boyfriend?" he asked and Georgia's eyes widened recalling Rowan, she never knew his girl-friend was Audrey.
"Your brother." she answered facing the door and not William, the brightness of her face gone.
"You're kidding." he said, his hand covering his mouth.
"I love Georgia a lot, but I would never hurt her. I can't guarantee about Harold." he added and Georgia shook her head at his blithe behavior.
"He doesn't love me; he was mad because I tried to hinder his forced engagement." Audrey said, her tone wasn't friendly nor was William. Their conversation was raw, lacking true emotions as if this was their first conversation. Sample conversation they've been forced to have.

"I have to admit Aurora." he smiled a cheeky smile "I am grateful."

"I can figure." she emoted through her pursed lips moving her bandaged wrists.
"What's with the tone?" he asked and extended his hands towards the bottle of water and uncapped it, drinking few gulps.
"I am not your friend." she looked at him then back at her swinging legs.
"I know." A pause and then looked at her "I can't keep any girl my friend. It never works out."
"What is it?" Audrey asked and raised her brow at him. William's smile faded from his face now his eyes darkened.
"What?" he asked inclining to his bed.
"Why are you being generous, to me?"
"Fine, you're not stupid." he scoffed and got up from his bed,
"I don't even trust my family members." he explained, his voice suddenly heavy "I know it was a female so... I want to start from you." he rested his hand on Audrey's shoulder, she lifted her hand up, eyes widened as she looked confused. Georgia tried to understand William's anxiety.

"Can I block you? To ensure my safety?" he asked rubbing the back of his neck. Nervous.
"I don't know what you mean."
"Let me just once..." he cleared his throat and slid his hand down from her shoulder, Georgia covered her mouth keeping herself from screaming.
"What the fuck? Mr. William." Audrey jumped down from his bed and pushed his hand off her.
"Pervert!" she yelled and ran to the door and opened it, pause. Georgia remembered she was very much visible to both Audrey and William.
"Sorry." was the only sentence she could manage to say and ran.
"Georgia. Wait." William called out and she still kept running not worried if she might slip down or fall down.
"Please wait Miss. Georgia Evans." Audrey called out and Georgia ran inside her room. Locked it. Sat on her bed.
