The aftermath of the intense battle left us gasping for breath, yet a lingering tension hung heavy in the air as the camp gathered around, concern etched on their faces. Halsin, the wise druid, approached first, his eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and worry.

"Y/N, what happened here?" Halsin's voice carried a calmness that soothed the nerves amidst the chaos.

Wyll, the warlock, glanced around with a furrowed brow, his gaze shifting between the remaining traces of magical energies and the battle-weary expressions of our group.

"It looks like a showdown, something from the Abyss by the looks of it."

Karlack, the imposing barbarian, scratched her head, her eyes narrowing as she surveyed the scene.

"Whatever it was, it sure was strong, eh?" Her gruff voice echoed his observations.

Shadowheart stepped forward, her mace at the ready before she realized the threat had passed.

"Y/N, are you alright?" Her concern was evident as she scanned the camp, her eyes lingering on Astarion and me.

Gale, ever the astute wizard, cast a concerned glance in our direction.

"There was a palpable presence here, dark and foreboding. What did you face, my friend?"

I took a moment to catch my breath, my gaze shifting from one companion to another, the weight of the encounter still heavy on my mind.

"It was a visitor from my past, a remnant I thought I'd escaped. A shadow that's been haunting me," I explained, my voice steadying as I recounted the encounter. Astarion stood by my side, his expression a mix of determination and wariness.

"This... visitor, it had a connection to Y/N's past. Some dark, malevolent entity that found its way here."

"The depths hold many secrets and terrors," Halsin mused, his eyes betraying a deep understanding of the perilous nature of our surroundings. "But it seems this was a personal matter."

Wyll's eyes narrowed as he processed the situation, his hand instinctively reaching for his arcane focus.

"Whatever it was, it doesn't sound like it's done with us." Karlack grunted in agreement.

"If it comes back, we'll be ready. Ain't no shadow gonna scare us off."

Shadowheart's gaze held a quiet determination. "We stand together, no matter the threat."

Gale nodded, his eyes reflecting a mix of concern and unwavering resolve. "Indeed, united we face whatever trials come our way."

The camp remained on edge, a collective understanding settling among us—a shared resolve to stand against the darkness that lurked in the dark. As the night grew deeper, the stars offering a glimmer of hope amidst the shadows, we prepared ourselves for the uncertain journey that lay ahead. The encounter with the visitor was a stark reminder that our pasts often have a way of catching up to us, such encounters could prove to be more perilous than we had imagined.
