Cheyanne's POV
Two months have passed since the incident with Raymon's brother.
Then five.
Then eight.
On the good side, Raymon was adjusting well. He's been happier since he's been staying with us, for almost a year now. We haven't heard from his (adoptive) parents or brother since that day. His wounds from when Justin and I found him unconscious in his house were all healed, and now he had a scar on his right arm where the bandage was.
The animatronics are still with us, and I'm glad of that. I feel as if they're part of the family too, even though they figuratively adopted us after we discovered Justin's parent's deaths. I told them they could leave, for all danger has passed, and after getting adjusted, we could live on our own. However, they did admit that they liked living with us! They thought we were fun to be around and were better than performing in that restaurant where we met them. Truth is, I love having them around too.
But the animatronics want to stay for a different reason, too. Golden Freddy says that there's still more to come. He's mostly afraid of that one green bunny animatronic-thing coming back. They all are. What was his name? Was it Springtrap? I can't remember. It's been too long.
I'm not sure if I believe Golden Freddy anyway.
Anyway, as I said, eight months have passed, and we were in the middle of the month of July. Winter's past, spring's past, and now Ellie and I are fourteen years old. Justin is still thirteen, but Raymon is actually a couple of years older than us; he'll be seventeen soon.
Do you remember that treehouse we found while exploring the forest last year? While Freddy was under the control of Springtrap? Yeah, well, we visit there frequently now. I'm not bombarded by the memories of that place, instead, I look forward to the future. All of the memories we would make there.
Not only do we use this treehouse to hang out, but the animatronics have been teaching us some things. Now that we're living on our own (except for Ellie), we're behind on education. The animatronics take turns with lessons in the treehouse. We use the treehouse for these lessons because it gives us a chance to be outside, so we're not cooped up in the house all day. Also, Ellie joins us just because she wants to.
I don't know how the animatronics are smart enough to be teachers (no offense), but I like it. It's a new experience to be taught by them rather than by our parents.
However, we get to learn more than just...the basics. We get to learn how to defend ourselves in combat. I think that this was added because of Raymon's brother incident.
And no, I don't mean karate. The animatronics teach us how to defend ourselves using weapons. No guns, though, because we most likely won't ever get our hands on one. It mostly consists of knives and swords. I know that Justin's parents kept a few katanas in the basement.
As of right now in this current moment, we are in a lesson with Golden Freddy. I hate it when he teaches, however. He's so strict!
"Cheyanne. Cheyanne!" Speaking of Golden Freddy, his voice brought me out of my thoughts. I believe we were in the middle of a math lesson. I forced a sigh and said, annoyed, "What."
"You better pay attention or I'll throw you off!" Golden Freddy replied. Pft. He wouldn't do that.
"I'll throw you off if you ever so touch me!" I retorted. Justin, right next to me, high-fived me for the smart remark, and I continued.
"I mean, why do we get to start school now? In fact, since when have we ever been to school?" I looked around for agreement. The two that were there, Ellie and Raymon, both nodded. I saw the transition of anger flash to alarm in Golden Freddy's eyes, but he quickly blinked it away and softly shook his head. What was the alarm from?
