Justin's POV
The group and I were chilling in the front yard of the house, taking turns to tell the story of what happened in the pizzeria. We just finished and the animatronics were looking at us with admiration.
"All of that happened while we were stuck outside?" Bonnie asked. It doesn't seem like any of them could believe we were even alive.
"Geez, I'm glad Mangle's safe..." Chica commented.
"So the demon was banished back to hell?" Golden Freddy breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank whatever god is above!"
"Golden Freddy, can you even do an exorcism?" Cheyanne asked him. "Gizzmo said you knew how."
But he shook his head. "Nope. Never have, hope to never will."
"But," he continued. "You kids are so brave. I'm proud of every one of you. If I were you, I'd probably be dead. I wish we were there to help, but you seemed to handle yourselves fine." We cowered under his praise.
"Okay, I'm going inside," Raymon announced. "I am exhausted."
Now that he mentioned it, I was beat myself. My legs felt like they were ready to collapse, my feet were sore, and my eyes were shutting on their own. Although it was half past noon at this point, I was ready to sleep like a log. "I'm joining you," I said to Raymon and followed him up the deck stairs.
"Waitttt come on," Cheyanne said and raced up after us. "Let's say hello to the house first!"
"Girl, are you serious?" Ellie said, also joining us on the deck.
"Of course I am," Cheyanne insisted. "That experience made me very thankful for life and home. I'm going to relish it as much as I can."
I shrugged. "Fair enough." I opened the house door, which we never seemed to lock, and exclaimed, "Hallelujah! Home sweet home!" Just to make Cheyanne happy. I glanced back at my friends staring at me in amusement, trying not to crack up. Cheyanne was right. Seeing the joy and laughter in their faces made me appreciate the good moments more. The rest of the group filed into the house. Since our entryway was small, I made my way into the living room to create more space.
"Yayyy home," Raymon celebrated with a sleepy voice and yawned. "Okay, sleep time now."
"Still right behind you," I said and followed Raymon upstairs. We separated into our rooms, no more words spoken. I immediately flopped onto my bed and passed out. I heard Cheyanne come into the room, but seeing I was already out, she left me alone.
Golden Freddy's POV
"Welp, back in this boring room," I announced when all five of us stepped into our room. It wasn't furnished or even carpeted. Just boring wooden floors and boring drywall.
"Hey, at least it's something," Bonnie replied.
"Hardly anything," Foxy muttered, hardly audible. Bonnie glanced at him, annoyed, and Foxy lowered his ears in guilt.
"Eh, we don't need much anyways," Freddy said and flopped straight onto the floor.
"Alright...so now what?" Bonnie asked.
"Do what Cheyanne asked...say hello, I guess," I answered him.
"Hello, empty room!" Chica greeted.
"Not literally," Freddy said, laying on his back and staring at the ceiling, one leg crossed over the other.
"I'm just joking around," Chica replied.
Now this is what I liked. Peace, and laughter. We were finally in a stress-free environment.
