Springtrap's POV

I took my hand off Golden Freddy's head and smirked, out of breath. His body fell to the floor, unconscious. He put up quite the struggle, but with his powers stripped, I had managed to pin him against the wall. I had suppressed his teleporting ability along with many others when he and Cheyanne arrived, so there was no need to worry about that. I know how everybody says Golden Freddy is stronger than me but without his powers, it's indeed the opposite. He is weak. I'm his brother, I would know.

I'm his brother...

A wave of guilt washed over me. Why would I do this to him? Why would I do this to my own brother...

You're being controlled...

I wish I could've done this to both of them, to Cheyanne as well...but this stupid bear had let the girl escape. Mangle had gone after her, but she hadn't reported back yet. I assume that Cheyanne got away. I always assume the worst. Somehow my plans always get foiled. It's nobody's fault, really, just Cheyanne and her gang's. They always find a way to ruin things for me.

What'd I do? Why, I erased all of Golden Freddy's memories of Cheyanne and her friends, the animatronics that are living with them, and everything they had done together. Instead, I replaced all of that with us. Me, Mangle, Gizzmo, and May. When he wakes up, he'll believe he's always lived here. He has no memory of the pizzeria, the supply closet, nothing. I kept his memory of him as Tyler; he needs a backstory. Now, once he wakes up, I'll give him his powers back. He's going to need them when Cheyanne and whoever else arrives. He wouldn't use them against me now. In fact, he'll feel right at home with us. At least, that's what I believe.

"Springtrap?" Mangle pushed the Parts & Service door open slightly.

"Yeah, honey? What's up?" I greeted her, warmth in my tone.

"She got away."

My face fell to the floor, still facing Golden Freddy, disappointed. Not in Mangle. Just that my daughter had gotten away. And she was clearly going to come back for Golden Freddy. "It's okay," I told Mangle. "She'll be back."

"I'm sorry-" Mangle's voice box faltered. "Gizzmo and May unlocked the doors for her, it was raining, I couldn't chase after..." I held my hand up to quiet her down. Thinking for a moment. I turned toward her, my old gears turning and clicking. "Gizzmo and May...unlocked the door?" I repeated.

"Yes," Mangle confirmed. Oh, they were so in trouble. The entire plan was ruined because of them! I sighed loudly. Fear washed over Mangle's face. She thought I was going to punish her.

"Mangle, you're not in trouble," I reassured her. "It's not your fault." Golden Freddy stirred beside me. "Why don't you go back into the main room? Be with the kids. I'll take care of him." I pointed and Golden Freddy. Mangle nodded and slipped out of the room.

"Heya, brother," Golden Freddy echoed voice greeted. I smiled behind his back. It did work. I turned around, cheerful, and greeted him back. He was already on his feet."Hiya."

"What are you doing here?" Golden Freddy asked. "You know that I like to sleep in private." I did not add that in as a detail.

"Oh, right, uhm, just checking on you. You've been asleep all day," I replied, nervously.

"Oh. Well, thanks for caring. And for checking up. I appreciate it. C'mon, let's see how everyone's doing." He grabbed me by the arm and half dragged me out of Parts & Service and into the hallway. In there, I let go of him and we walked side by side into the main room. I stood by the doorway as Golden Freddy casually walked over to his kids; on the opposite wall from Mangle's room. Those kids better not give anything away, they're already in trouble with me. I glared at them through narrow slits. They both took the hint and gave the casual "Hi, Dad." To make me even more happy, May extended her arms for a hug and Golden Freddy accepted, even swinging her into his arms and picking her up off of the ground. It was cute; how he interacted with his kids. Wish I had that chance.
