PROLOGUE

When the Queen family heard that their dear friends Martha and Thomas Wayne died, leaving their children as ophans, they did everything in their power to make sure they weren't alone. Even though the Wayne siblings lived mostly in Gotham and were mainly in the care of Alfred, they became fast friends with the Queen siblings, Oliver and Thea.

Oliver and Gemini were always the closest, although they never had any romantic feelings (at least not yet...). When Oliver dated Laurel Gemini dated Tommy Merlyn. The girls fooled themselves thinking that the notorious playboys abandoned their extavagant lifestyles, sadly they were wrong...

When the Queen's Gambit went down Gemini mourned the dead of her best friend, but she tried to console Laurel as she lost the man she loved. However, when they found out Sara was on the Gambit with Oliver, everything collapsed.

In a desprate search for revange, hurt by her boyfriend's betrayal and her sister's death, Laurel did the one thing she thought would hurt Oliver the most: sleep with his best friend without caring about the person who had supported her throughout everything and happened to be dating said best friend, Tommy Merlyn.

After everything that happened to the Wayne siblings, driven to the edge by Oliver's death, they became the saviours of Gotham city, Batman and Catwoman, although it didn't start that way...

Finally, Bruce bieng the eldest was supposed to take over Wayne Enterprises, however he refused to take the position forcing his more qualified younger sister to step up.

Gemini, CEO of Wayne Enterprises, top of her class on business school, could be described as cold, calculating, mean and even a bitch, but none of it mattered to her because she was helping the people of Gotham, while making her family's company one of the most profitable in the country.

She had everything in her life planned out, but what will happen when an old friend returns? Will she go back to Starling?
