Chapter 3: I'll be back for you,

Y/n's POV

As I finished my 'backstory' they all had stone faced expressions. Then they all looked over at Toph, who nodded her head and shrugged. Then they looked back at me and their faces changed. They were solemn. Katara started to cry and ran over and tackled me in an embrace. It was kinda suffocating. "K-Katara, c-can't breathe." I barley managed to huff out. She released me and started to move her mouth profusely, 'She probably saying sorry.' My thoughts were confirmed when she signed,

"Sorry." She had a small, embarrassed blush on her face.

"No, it's fine." I said as I gave her a small smile. She smiled back and wiped a few stray tears away. Aang stood up and walked over to us, placing his hand on her shoulder. He moved his lips but of course I couldn't understand a thing he said. I looked at Katara and she signed out what he said,

"I am so sorry that happened to you. If you want to join us on our journey to defeat the Firelord, we would be happy to have you." I looked back at him as he smiled. I smiled back.

"I would love too." Katara and Aang smiled big. I then saw Sokka walk up and say something to them, and when he did Katara rolled her eyes. I was confused. "What did he say?" I asked her.

"You don't want to know." She signed back, clearly annoyed by him. I giggled. Aang then whispered something to her and she look very nervous. "I know it might be a lot to ask, but could you teach Aang firebending?" I thought for a moment.

"Um, sure...I guess I could. Yeah! I would love to!" I said as my smile widened. 'Well I guess I'm going to be teaching the avatar hoe to play with fire...'

Azula's POV

I look out at the woods as I stand by a small river, the sun is just about to leave the ink, black sky. I climb back on my lizard and take one last glance at the setting sun and forest, "I'll be back for you, my pet."
