Shinobu's PoV💜🦋:

I was sitting at my desk, talking to Obanai and Sanemi while waiting for the algebra teacher.

The teacher was always rather late for class, so everyone just occupied themselves before he got there.

I was feeling kind of bored, though, so I got up and told them that I would be back. They nodded at me and continued talking to each other.

I then exited the classroom, but the moment before I was about to turn a corner, heard quick footsteps.

Huh? Wh- My thoughts were cut off short before someone ran into me.

The impact made me off balance, but it didn't knock me over. Can't exactly say the same for the other person.

"Oof!" I heard them say.

"Hey, watch it!" I exclaimed. I then looked down to see a short girl with raven hair, and eyes the most deep, beautiful blue I've ever seen.

I looked at her for a short moment before she got up and looked at me.

"I'm sorry!" She quickly apologized. "I didn't see you! Oh, I'm so late! Do you have any idea where history is? I'm new here, and I can't find it at all!"

Oh. So she's one of the new students. She seems in a big rush. I thought.

I didn't want to help her, but a tiny part of me noticed that she probably, really, needed it. Especially since she was new.

I sighed. "Follow me."

"Thank you!" she replied to me. Luckily, for both of us, the history classroom was right next to mine.

We walked for in silence for short amount of time, before we got to her class.

She then thanked me one more time and quickly gave me a hug. I felt myself stiffen up, not moving at all. She let go of me and entered her classroom, with me watching her leave.

I was still rather stiff, unsure what to feel. I panicked for a little bit, but then headed back to my class.

I quietly opened the door and headed back to my seat, and I noticed that Obanai was looking at me strangely.

"What." I snapped at him.

"Nothing, nothing." he responded. "It's just, your face is a little, um... red. Just a little."

I blinked in surprise and noticed a few things about myself: my cheeks felt hot, my heart was beating rapidly, and there was this weird feeling in my stomach.

"Uhhh, Shinobu? You all right?" asked Obanai, snapping me out of my trance.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm all right. I feel a little weird, though." I replied.

"What do you mean?" he said.

"Well, my heart feels like it's beating 20 times a second, and my stomach just feels..." I stopped.

"What?" he interrupted.

"I don't know. I've never felt like this before." I said.

"Hmm... well, exactly what happened? When you left you looked fine, but now... eh." Obanai said to me.

"Rude. And nothing. Nothing interesting, at least." An image of the girl I saw earlier flashed in my mind, but I quickly turned away from the thought.

Obanai calmly raised an eyebrow at me. "Really? Because, I think that 'nothing' just made you worse. He motioned to my face, which seemed to apparently have gotten slightly worse.

"Dude. You need to get checked out." he said flatly.

"But I-" I was interrupted again. This guy really needed to learn some common decency.

"Now shut up. Our living source of torture has arrived." he motioned towards the teacher entering the room.

I heaved a big sigh of boredom. WHEN CAN I JUST ESCAPE THIS HELLHOLE ALREADY?! I thought.

Luckily for me, my seat was at the back of the classroom, so the teacher hardly noticed me. For the rest of the class, I barely paid attention, just pretending to listen.

My mind was stuck on that girl, and her beautiful blue eyes.

Giyuu's PoV💙🌊:

"Thank you!" I said to the boy.

He seemed to stiffen up a little, so I quickly let go and entered the classroom.

                                                        *Timeskip*

Okay. That was incredibly boring.

I just beginning to leave when the pink-and-green-haired I met from earlier ran up to me.

"I'm sorry! I forgot to ask you your name earlier! I'm Kanroji Mitsuri, but you can call me Mitsuri!" she said to me.

"O-oh! My name is Tomioka Giyuu." I replied to her.

"Hello, Tomioka! Eeep, you're so cute! And your eyes are so pretty!" said Mitsuri.

"M-mine?" I stuttered. "T-thank you. Your hair is really nice, too."

Mitsuri blushed and cupped her face. "Aww, thank you! Do you think Iguro will notice me? I barely get the chance to see him during school, but he's so hansome!"

I blinked in confusion. "Iguro? Who's that?"

"Oh! Yes! Right!" Mitsuri pointed behind me at two boys; the one I saw earlier and a different one with an odd mask covering almost half his face.

"The cute one with the mask is Iguro Obanai, and the boy next to him is Kocho Shinobu."

"Oh." I said. "I think I've already met Kocho."

She looked back at me. "You have?" she asked. "When?"

"Earlier, right before history started." I told her. "I was having trouble finding the class, but he helped me"

She looked at me in surprise. "Really? He did? Kocho Shinobu, helped you? Are you sure it wasn't someone else?" she asked.

I felt genuinely confused. "Ummm, yes? Pretty sure it was him. I mean, he didn't exactly seem all that happy about it, but he did."

Mitsuri looked at me suspiciously. "Yeah... anyways, want to come to my house today after school?"

I looked at her in surprise, than let out a small smile.

"Sure, that would be quite nice."
