I was here to interrogate a teacher, maybe get a clue about the killer but instead, I ended up in the arms of a very eye pleasing man who's a teacher and an interesting man. I just stood agape when he replied to that lady. Well, at least I know now that I have a chance. Unless he is taken.

"Miss Choi...would you mind giving us the privacy we asked for? Before you boorishly busted in my cabin." The woman who's being called Miss Choi had so many phases of emotions on her face that it was hard to tell if she is embarrassed or about to cry. Mr. Jeon on the other hand looked very annoyed and I for a fact know if a man like him stared at with that face I would never show my face to him again. It's embarrassing to know a man this handsome was annoyed by you.

Miss Choi sniffed a times or two before muttering a forced, "I-fine!" and rushed out of the same door she entered leaving us alone once again and this time it was him who locked it. "So....-" He trailed off which made me realize why I was here in the very first place.

"Yes, right...Siun... I assume you are his class teacher?" He nodded in reply confirming my words. "Can you tell me how's that kid? Like, his behavior, about his life, his relation with friends and his...parents." I needed every small detail and I hope I will get it here. A class teacher knows their student better than anyone. If they are dedicated, that is.

"Siun...he is a really bright boy. His smile is so refreshing that it brightens up the whole room, you won't find a single student in the class that doesn't like him or has any grudge against him but, you won't be able to look past that smile too and see what's going on in his life." The way his voice turned solemn it convinced me that something was wrong with the boy. Something so wrong and bad that it triggered him to kill his own father. "His mother....that woman is a good wife but she lacks a bit in motherly care or should I say being a good wife holds her back from being a good mother too."

I didn't correct his tense, how he was talking in present tense that Mrs. Kim was still a wife and not a widow, it was not the time. "Can you explai-" He stood up without letting me complete my words and brought back his phone. "I clicked these pics when I was almost going to file a complain but got stopped by Mrs. Kim. Here," I took his phone in my own hands nd scrolled through the pictures, marks, lots or marks, rashes, like someone was beaten up with a belt or stick. "I guess they are enough to explain his relation with his father. I don't even get why would someone hit their own child...like why bring them into the world if you can't care for them. They are humans with heart and sense, they hurt too."

His last words made me remember my own life, I ask myself this question too, 'why bring them to world if you can't love or care for them?' and I never got the answer. Why do they think they can hurt their children just because they are parents? Being a parent doesn't give them the right to break their children, to make them feel worthless, to make them feel like they don't deserve to live.

"-ir, hello, Mr. Police man...you here?" I blinked back at him, getting out of the spiral I got stuck into. And maybe I was out for concerning amount of time because Mr. Jeon seems worried by his looks. "You alright, Mr. Kim? Should I bring wat-" "Ah no thanks, I was just thinking about the case, that's all." I dismissed his words making him sit back on his place though he still looks unconvinced. These photos would help a lot, that asshole doesn't get to die with respect after putting his hands on a child.

"I need these photos, can I get your number?" This was not how I wanted to ask but I guess being a cop you do things differently. Nevertheless he nodded and forwarded his palm. And like an sane man, I dropped my palm in his. "Oh....umm." Now what? He looks a bit surprised at my acts. "Mr. Police man, I would love holding your hand but before that I need to give you my number." I blinked once, then twice and then again before I got back to my senses and pulled my hand back to fish out my phone and this time hand it over to them. I didn't dare to look up at him, my actions have left me embarrassed and flustered for eternity. I can't loop up or meet his gaze an-

"Mr. Kim-" and I look up. "Yes?" I was sure I heard him chuckling before he composed himself and handed me my phone back. "I gave myself a call, so now I have your number too. Let me send you the pictures, though." Soon my phone flickered with notifications and I quickly clicked on them but instead of focusing on the photos I tapped on the profile picture. My good luck, it was his picture in a black hoodie with hair strands over his face like he just came out of bath. He looks so hot and boyfriend material in the picture that I even forget where I was standing.

"Uh-I have something to show you." I pulled out the two chits from my wallet and kept it in front of him. "Can you recognize the writing? These two have similar writings...is there any chance it's of-" He cut me off, pretty modestly if you ask me. "-Siun? No....though the boy is bright as sun, his writing looks like someone tried to write with their left hand." His words made me stand back to square one again. So the boy isn't a suspect but a victim.

I forwarded my hand to pick up the chits but Mr. Jeon picked it before me. He looked like he was trying to find something in it and I couldn't help but ask. "Are you searching for something?" He didn't seem surprised or nervous with my question which makes it clear he isn't hiding anything. "No...it's just....my hyung keeps this same set of notes but they have a flower printed on the corners....I thought they had too but nope....it's different." I nodded as he kept them back before looking up at me. He has a hyung, like me.

"These are the clues I have got from previous two murders....and I don't understand what they are trying to prove." I sighed out tiredly, pinching my nose bridge. I seriously can't understand who and why is giving out these chits. Or is the killer just messing with me? "Only you?" His question caught me off-guard. I pinched my lower lips before meeting his gaze. "I....yeah- I will tell about it to the rest soon." No I will not. But he doesn't need to know that.

He read the rhymes and was left just as confused as I was, well more than me since he has no idea about the relation between them and the murders happening. "What message do these...these children rhymes even convey? Or are they just a bluff?" Bluff. His words made me reconsider my own thoughts. Even I, at some point took this all as a bluff but how come the killings are so connected to these rhymes? Why use a rhyme with the concept of pushing down the stairs after killing him the same way and not twinkle twinkle if these chits were not connected?

It's so much confusing but I know, these small chits are anything but bluff.

Though, it's time for me to leave and I was leaving too when Mr. Jeon said something completely out of my syllabus.

"Mind hanging out with me later? I don't want to lose the chance of making a man like you my husband just because I chickened out."
