Stretching my gloves on my hand as I entered the crime scene, the first thing I noticed was the dead body covered with a white sheet. Looking around, the condition of the room looked like there was a fight with the frames faller and shattered, cushion out of place, scratches on couch, all in all, everything looked out of place. Yun-sae behind me sighed making me look at her in question to which she just pointed towards the body.

"About the victim?" I asked as I moved closer, looking for anything that can take us to the murderer. "Choi Soojin, 9 year old-" My hand halted in mid at her words. A child, not even teen. "-younger son of Choi Sangchan. Mother is dead." Cursing to the bastard who did this, I pulled off the sheet. Feeling a lump in my throat as I looked at the lil boy's bloodied face with so many bruises and scratches, eyes still wet from tears. I had to look away and take a deep breath to stop myself from crying. Tilting his head to the side I looked at the cause of death.

"He was choked." As I traced the marks on his neck, I felt myself shudder at the thoughts of how he would've felt when he was choked. Did he gave up? Or, did he want to live? Was it someone he loved or trusted? Was he screaming for help?

"Tae..."

Looking away from his face I nodded at her as she kept her hand over my shoulder, patting twice before going back to others. I looked at the boy's face one last time before covering it back, "Who ever did it will pay for it, I promise you. May your soul be at peace."

I will find the fucker who did it and make sure he gets sentenced to death.

Turning back to Yun-sae, I threw the gloves in the polybag where other such items were collected. "Any connection of this case to before two cases?" There's a possibility the killer is the same. After all, this all happened within a month. 3 murders in a month. And there's no clue about the killer except it's approx. 6 ft tall.

"Till now....no. I can't even find any connection between the first two murders."

Her words made me feel a pinch of guilt in my chest. I haven't told her about the clues. "O-ok. get me the postmortem reports later." Sighing I went through all the information about the boy, mother dead, father a possible abusive parent, and sibling--didn't Yun-sae said the boy was the younger son?

"Yun-sae."

"Yes? What happened?" She leaned over me to look at the report she has prepared before turning to me. "You said younger son, where's the older sibling?" Now that I notice, there's no picture of any other boy or girl in the frames, just him alone. Are they dead? "Oh, the older son....his name is Choi Yesuk and....that's it, no other information about him." How's that possible? "What's the age must be of that boy?" How there's no identity or information about him when he is the oldest child of the family?

"The boy must be around....22? or 23." So chances are he must be independent and living alone since there's no trace of him here. "Where's the father?" He is our first and main suspect. "Not here. Must be on a run since the sink is filled with dishes yet to wash and two wine glasses are found, one with a lipstick mark. Doesn't seem to be in debt since, the locker's filled with money and jewelries. Maybe a drunkard considering so many empty beer bottles and burnt cigarette butts."

This rules out the killer being the same person as the previous two murders. For this one, the father checks out all the boxes of being the murderer. But for now, I need a coffee. "Are there any cameras outside?" I am really raking my mind for two reasons.

One, who's the first killer? Two, where's the second murderer?

"No. No cameras. But as Woonhak says the murder time estimated must be around 12-2 pm in afternoon, so someone must have seen the father or anyone leaving the house." Nodding to her words I signaled her to follow me as I walked out of the house.
