When we reached the place, I almost felt a shiver down my spine with how scary it looked. Being at a remote location surrounded by wired fence, it was like a prison more than a hospital. The board of Daejoon nowhere to be found but everyone knows this building. The blood splattered on the left white wall of the building was like a mark, an identity of Daejoon hospital. Beside me, both Yun-sae and Yeonjun looked like they were about to get back in car and run back. They were standing a step behind me, looking around the place. Too scared for someone who wanted to come here.

"Let's go in." They both looked at each other before back at me like I told them to jump on th wired fences. "What?" I asked again and this time they followed me as I started walking inside the gates. We were about to enter the main entrance when Yeonjun stopped with a groan scrunching his nose. "Ew- it smells like...medicine here." Well, he wasn't wrong. It did smell but since it was a hospital, it was pretty obvious. "Pull on a mask if you want to." Both he and even Yun-sae wore their mask while I decided otherwise since going all masked in an asylum to get some information almost felt like going to rob a bank.

The guard looked at us before I showed him my ID so he would let us in. Inside was exactly like I expected, all covered in white and extremely silent which was quite eerie if you ask me. As we kept walking, we were greeted by a staff suddenly out of nowhere. "Hello, how may I help you?" He was quite tall, and handsome. Though he was asking me, I noticed his gaze shifting to Yeonjun again and again. Well, the man is handsome enough to pull both men and women, no wonder the staff is enchanted.

"Yeonjun, how about you take over from here onwards? Take it like your test on first day of work." I intentionally put him forward, so now he was face to face with the young boy and even though Yeonjun himself was tall enough, the other boy was still a bit taller than him. From behind I saw Yeonjun's ears turning red and with how frequently Yun-saw was coughing, she must have noticed it too.

"Um-yes ok." He replied before turning towards the boy, tilting his head up to look at him. I almost let out a pig snort. That was, until he started speaking,

"U-uh, you know-we...we are here for-you know information.... logbook of patients, I mean, can we-" Both me and Yun-sae had our jaws on floor seeing how much our new recruitment was stuttering just because the young staff had his gaze pinned on him unwavering. To be honest if someone stared down at me like he was about to eat me, I would get nervous too. For a moment I felt I should help him, but the boy did it before me. "You want to see the logbook of patients here?" It was a miracle how he perfectly understood what this panicking in gay was trying to say.

"But we just don't show it to-" Yeonjun pulled out his ID and the boy nodded before guiding us to the reception area. "Ok so, do you want recent or a specific-" The boy trailed off looking at us for an answer. "Recent, a year back? Or two." Yun-sae answered this time, side-eying Yeonjun who was still looking anywhere but at the taller boy.

Pulling out a register, the boy slides it over to us. "This is of, past 20 years or so.... it's in alphabetical order."  Three of us buried ourselves in it, flipping pages continually as we went through the 'C' tabular. Going through every record we were about to turn the page until Yeonjun pointed it out. "Choi Yesuk!!"

Indeed, it was Choi Yesuk, 24 years old, son of Choi Sangchan. Diagnosed with Hallucinations and Borderline personality disorder. As I read it, I felt a wave of sadness crashing to me. For someone so young to be suffering so much. It wasn't fair. Maybe the other two felt the same as Yun-saw sighed while Yeonjun looked like he zoned out while staring at the name.

"Yeonjun." I shook the boy making him flinch as he blinked rapidly, his eyes teary as he nodded at me. "What happened?" He just shook his head at my question before pointing at the boy's record again. "He is of my age....and here....it just feels scary. Imagine being so young and-nevermind." Licking his lips out of nervousness he passed the logbook to me, passing me a smile as to tell me he is fine.

This boy is too emotional for his own good. People like him bleed emotions, be it happy or sad. Though just as he raised his head up, he found the staff boy staring at him again and it didn't take lot for him to turn back into a shy puddle.

While Yeonjun was busy flirting with the boy while Yun-sae was reading about the asylum, I flipped some pages and a page suddenly slipped out and fell. "Ah-sorry!" Crouching down I picked it up and was about to put it back into the book when my eye caught the name.

'Jeon Jungkook'

There are many Jeon Jungkook's in the world, I should not think it is the one I know but to be at peace with myself, I turn the paper again and read the records.

Jeon Jungkook
12 years old
Diagnosed with Psychosis
Son of Kim Taeyeon and Jeon Heejin

And in there was a picture, a small passport size photo of a young boy and as much as I dared not to think it looks similar to him, it really does. Does it mean-

"Taehyung?" I snapped out of trance as Yun-sae shook me, everyone's attention on me. "Are you alright, sir? Oh...that boy...as I said, it has a log of 20 years back or so, that boy isn't here anymore. If it makes you happy, that boy was completely well when he left from here." I stared at the staff who gave me a pretty dimple smile that I couldn't help but reciprocate as well. It's infectious. "That's good. Anyways, are we done?"

The other two nodded, sliding the logbook back. "We will leave now. Thank you for your cooperation." We all bowed to the staff who did the same, his eyes again flickering back to Yeonjun who did all but looked back at him. This boy won't ever score a date if he stays like this. "You know what, Yeonjun, exchange phone numbers with him, if we need anything, we can ring him or if he finds something, or anything he wants to tell us regarding Choi Yesuk, he can call us."

My words were straight up BS, the staff boy has no idea about this case so there's nothing he can help us with. But it made them exchange numbers, which was the motive so it's a success.

After that, none of us wasted any more time and left from there with a question pricking back in my mind but I bury it there for now. I have enough on my plate at this moment, don't want to start a personal case now, not yet at least.
