"Just kidding!" Meliodas deadpanned, causing Howzer and Gilthunder to fall backwards.
"You goof," Andrea muttered, shaking her head with an amused grin as she approached him. She smirked as she saw how shaken up King was when he felt just how much stronger Meliodas got, the tips of her ears flapping smugly. Meliodas sneakily reached up to tug at her ears, but whipped his hand away before it could get smacked again.
"Merlin, could you send me to the Ten Commandments? he asked, tugging his shirt over his head. Andrea sighed as she snapped her fingers, her tank top and sweatpants being replaced with her dress, stockings, and heels. She tugged her hair tie off, ruffling the stiffness out of her hair as she watched all hell break loose.
"Are you insane?! Throwing yourself into the enemy's camp is suicide!" Gilthunder protested, his face full of panic.
"It can be done," Merlin replied, explaining that he would need to survive for ten seconds in order for her to bring him back.
"Yeah, get on with it!" Meliodas grinned. Merlin nodded and began chanting as Gilthunder and Hendrickson protested against his rash decision, but Meliodas waved away their concern nonchalantly.
"I'll make sure he won't die," Andrea promised before Meliodas disappeared, her shadow lifting from the ground and enveloping her in its cool embrace. Unlike teleportation spells, she didn't need to expend extra magic power to make herself appear in another place out of nowhere. In her shadow's case, it was more like traveling through the many shadows, no matter how small, that exist between her location and her destination. She followed the distinct magic signature left by Merlin's teleportation spell, appearing right beside Meliodas just as he greeted the Ten Commandments with a cheerful "Yo!" and a two-finger salute. She shrugged as he glanced towards her with a raised eyebrow, but a large, red, armored figure appeared in front of them before he could say anything. Ten.
"Meliodas?!" a deep, rough voice demanded, the sound ringing across the large clearing and causing Andrea's ears to twitch curiously. Nine. She glanced over at the source, and her stomach turned ice cold for a split second. Eight. She almost looked away as soon as her eyes landed upon the raven-haired male who stood with his armored hand over his sword, her stomach churning strangely as she was hit with a sudden wave of dizziness. Seven. She completely ignored Meliodas and the armored creature that he was beating to a pulp, merely sidestepping the flying debris and hopping over the caving ground as she tried to hide the fact that she was staring at the red-suited demon, pondering over why the sight of him made her feel like she was about to throw up. Six.
I've never seen him before, so this can't be disgust or hatred, she thought to herself, crossing her arms and tilting her head to the side as Garland's body was punted into the ground behind her, her ear bells jingling out a short melody. Five. Her ears flattened irritably as he shouted, but relaxed as Meliodas slashed him all over. Four.
"Don't glare at me like that! It's been so long since I've said 'hi' that I figured I'd take some time to catch up," Meliodas called up to the Commandments cheerfully, as if he hadn't just beaten one of them into scrap metal. Three.
"There's nothing to talk about. What there is, Meliodas, is resentment towards you and the desire for revenge against the four races," the ravenette growled, the sound of his voice causing Andrea's ears to flick agitatedly as the churning in her stomach worsened, making her wonder if she was sick. Maybe I should drink some peppermint tea... That always helps with my nausea, she thought. Two.
"You're so cold, Zeldris. We're brothers, remember? At least hear me out," Meliodas pouted as Andrea whipped her head between the two shorter men, finally registering the physical similarities between the two. "The war ended long ago. Britannia's a land of peace now," he continued, a taunting grin stretching across his face. One. "But if you guys try to continue what you started 3,000 years ago, then the Seven Deadly Sins and I will crush you with everything we've got," he finished.
