He's after you.

He's gonna get you.

Soon, he'll get you.

And what will you do?

Nothing.

Maybe it's time for you to learn to speak and tell Aizawa. But you're being hesitant about it. What if he doesn't understand you?

You know his name. Just call him. Come on...

"Kid, go to sleep. It's late.." his voice broke your train of thoughts. You've been following him everywhere after you came back, not clinging, but it's weird for you to act like that.

This is your chance, speak up.

"..."  your mouth opened, but nothing came out. Aizawa was looking around his bedroom thinking about how to put you to sleep, so he hadn't noticed.

"umm.." your mumbling just sounded like wind blowing to him.

Speak up! Louder!

"......"

"z... zawa."

"What?-"

Oh, he heard you. Great, now what?

"Did you just speak?" he looked down at you, before crouching down to reach your level.

Yes, you did. But what do you say now? That you're scared because you just saw him in the afternoon? Or that he's gonna get you soon?

"umm... zawa...?"

"Yeah, it's me."

His soft smile somehow made you a bit motivated. Maybe this isn't that hard after all.

"k-kyoshi.."

He looked at you with a raised eyebrow, "Kyoshi? Who's that?" he questioned. He wondered who you're referring to, maybe you already had a nickname for someone?

This is bad. He doesn't even know who he is, let alone existed..

He saw you fidgeting with your fingers, and you looked around with a nervous yet worried expression. Is something wrong with the name you said?

Kyoshi.. it sounded familiar now that he's thinking about it.

"whhite.. coat."

White coat?

oh.

His eyes widened, "I thought we captured everyone," he wondered if that was a nightmare... or you just really happen to see him. "are you sure? Where did you see him?"

Then he thought deeper.

"Is that why you were... " he continued on, then looking at you. "in the car.." thinking back, you really looked scared when he came back into the car. So it wasn't a nightmare?

Oh, good. He's getting it.

"Are you sure?" he repeated

He moved closer, placing a hand on your head. It made you feel better, like always.

If that madman was really on the run, there's a possibility he knows where you are. He's really going to get you back.

Damnit.

No, I'm not going to let that happen.

He started rubbing your head, trying to comfort you. That innocent look of yours always never failed to melt his heart, guess he really cares about you huh?

"Cmon, let's not worry about that alright? Let's go to sleep." He was worried, and he can't help but have another worry to add on his list. But your well-being always comes first, so he had to push it aside.

He gently carried you and walked toward his bed, placing you down.

Getting placed on something soft when you've been sleeping on hard surfaces was... great? But weird at the same time. Whys your body sinking into the bed?

Aizawa took this opportunity to let you get familiar with a bed. Sleeping against a wall forever is just gonna make your posture bad, especially when you're just a small child.

He pat you on the head, then he sat on the bed next to you, placing you on his lap afterwards.

Weird.

You were slowly warming up to him, but not that much..

"It's okay. Just a hug, makes you feel better, you know?" he gave you a soft smile for more reassurance, "then you'll feel safe when you sleep."

You didn't really know what a 'hug' really meant, but it felt like the time when he carried you, so you just went on with it. He saved you once again, didn't he?

Resting your head on his shoulder, he continued on with his patting. Your tail was swaying, slowly, enjoying this comfort.

Then the drowsiness finally crept up on you, eyelids feeling heavier and heavier, until it closed shut without you knowing.

You slept, soundlessly.

For Aizawa, well, sleeping this early wasn't for him, even if it was 2 in the morning. But the tiredness was slowly creeping up to him too, so he had no choice but to sleep.

He muttered a few words as he closed his eyes,

"I'll protect you, Kio*"
