The sounds of rain splashing onto the ground was somewhat soothing for you to hear. Just another reminder of how free you were.. it was enjoyable.
Soft fur brushing against your skin, sounds of slight purring as a wave of warmth washed over you.
It was a cold rainy night, but luckily for you, your body heat adapted. Maybe that's why the strays cuddled so close together with you. It was warm for them, and they gave you a feeling of warmth.
A warm smile formed on your face as you remembered what Aizawa told you: 'cats don't like water' and something about 'help people'. Sure, it was random, but that knowledge seemed to work really well in this situation. With your wing stretched out to cover the rain, while a cat slept on the cardboard box beside you.
Helping out? I guess it counts.
Oh, how the rain sounded so comfortable. A pitter here and a patter there, not the constant yelling you'd once experienced. It was too good, that you lost track of time in just an instant..

The green haired ran through the sidewalk, his red boots splashing water everywhere as he tried to rush back home and not get his mother worried over him once more. Both his hands tried to cover his head, but to no avail.
It wasn't supposed to rain. Oh, how unlucky he was.
All he wanted was some night training to stretch out his arms and legs, and maybe a nice warm up for his quirk. You'll never know when you'd suddenly just forget how to use your quirk..
He ran passed under multiple headlights, his shadow creeping onto the wall, and with every slight flicker, a new dark pose is made.
The night was scary, that's for sure. Not a single person outside, it was just him and his own self.
The sudden sharp crash from an alleyway sure didn't help his case though.
"Could that be..."
Slowly, he crept up to the corner and peeked a head out, wanting to know what the hell was going on in this specific alley.
He expected to see some kind of huge, mysterious man doing some illegal work, but all he saw was a child he found particularly familiar.
Is... is that..
"Kiogo*!" he exclaimed without putting much thought into what could happen when he did, so that made you flinch at the sudden loud noise. He immediately regretted his actions slightly and turned his voice slightly lower.
The rain was still falling, so he had to walk closer and speak to you. A concerned expression formed on his face. What the hell is a kid doing here?? Especially at night?? Under the falling rain??
"What are you doing here, it's raining.. where's Mr. Aizawa?" the boy said in a slight hushed tone, trying not to frighten you, or the cats in any way when he noticed them peacefully sleeping around.
You tilted your head slightly, before answering his question. "zawa go hero... -ing" you said, with a warm smile on your face as you finally met someone who could solve your boredom.
Hero-ing huh...
"Well, you still shouldn't be out in the rain though.. what if you get sick? C'mon, I'm bringing you to my home in the meantime!" he responded in a voice full of determination, reaching a hand out so you would follow him. He just hoped you'd do it voluntarily though..
Nah.
"But... kitty.. and, the rain, is gud." you quickly shook your head, trying to convince him that you didn't want to leave yet. Not with this nice surrounding where you're 100% sure Aizawa wouldn't let you have alone.
"Hm..." the boy hummed, feeling a bit conflicted on what he should go with now. Sure it was just rain, he could probably handle it with a small cold and tough it out, but at the same time, he sure doesn't want to you to get sick. "I'm sure Mr. Aizawa would be very worried though, and don't you not want to get sick? If you do, you're going to have a really bad day without any fun and..."
The words go on..
"Mmm... okay.." you sighed, slowly standing up. But of course you couldn't leave the poor kitty suddenly get poured on with rain.
You tried finding something around to cover it in the meantime.
Midoriya thought you were finding for lost items, but when you went to carefully put something to cover over the stray, he felt really amazed by your actions.
"C'mon Kiogo*, I'm sure you'll have a great time in my home in the meantime." he smiled, reaching the hand out all the same as he waited for you to take it. You did, and he picked you up carefully, while trying to shield you from the rain, even if you were already soaking wet like he was.
...
You were overjoyed... absolutely overjoyed.
You didn't want to even ask why, because who would ever say no to a free bunch of homemade cookies??
It just kept coming, and also, the utter attention every second was worth even more!
"Mom.. I think you're giving him to much.."
"Oh, it's fine, it's fine! I could make more if he wants."
"Oh, no no. It's enough, thanks.."
A pair of new warm oversized shirt on you, while you chomped on the nice delicious cookies that is to your very liking, your tail wagged in happiness..
Okay, maybe Midoriya's home isn't so bad. Maybe you should ask Aizawa to let you stay here next time
Adventure: ended. ( in joy though )
Also why does my motivation for writing keep escaping like a flock of chickens when I actually want to do something. Damnit
