As of last night...
About 2-3 in the morning...
"Hmm.. I think Mr. Aizawa would've finished his patrol by now. Don't you think?"
The green haired boy sat on the floor, an arm holding up his head as his elbow pressed against his knee. He sat cross-legged, watching the dragon boy admire his All-Might figures from a distance.
That admiration soon faded as you grew bored, eyes flickering to your fingers as you suddenly decided to fiddle and fidget with them. You weren't paying attention to Midoriya's words at all. But he probably wouldn't mind, since he seemed to be deep in thought.
"Should I call him then? I got to inform him somehow." he suggested to himself, rubbing his chin.
"Let's see here..."
—————————
"Kid, you have to say sorry to Mic."
"Why.."
"I know it was a boring night, but, you shouldn't have snuck out like that."
Lectures?.. long words and sentences were something you would never willingly listen to. Sitting there idly while having to stare straight at your guardians eyes even if it wasn't some bad scolding.
"Go on."
Aizawa said in a rather soft tone, a hand gently pushing your back to motivate you into giving the apology. Present Mic was right there, but it felt like a whole trail to walk.
Oh who cares, you're shameless.
"radio.. guy.. Mic," you spoke up, your yellowish green eyes staring up at him without a shame. He stared back at you, with a small smile on his face, awaiting his upcoming apology. Just a simple 'sorry', and it would've been music to his ears.
You huffed, "I am.. sorri." the words had slipped out of your mouth, and you didn't really know what to say after that. Maybe a 'I won't do it next time'? Or maybe a 'I shouldn't have done that'...
In the other's eyes, Mic was pleased with your apology, even if your words held a bit of reluctance in it, it still held its small genuine truth. "Thank you." he said in response, a hand patting your soft hair.
Your eyes gleamed with happiness at the head patting, since you favored how it felt. It has always reminded you of that first time of affection you felt, the time where you were in your dark little world, and a light shone bright alone in that dark place.
"hehe.."
After that, you returned to Aizawa, a hint of relief on your face.
"it wasn't so bad now, was it?" he said, nodding his head in approval to your good actions.
//
You spent the rest of the day with Aizawa's class, sitting on your favorite friends' laps as you listened to the confusing and complicated words of the teachers.
You also had your little fun time with the hotheaded Bakugou, participating in a friendly banter between both of you. It was quite entertaining, as you guessed that you had won when he gave up on trying to talk sense into a kid who doesn't understand hard words.
"Well, suit yourself. I'm not wasting my time with this.." he grumbled under his breath, crossing his arms as he looked away from you with a gentle scoff. You didn't really know that he'd unwillingly let you win, since he found it nice to see you smile and giggle at your fake victories.
The time with them was always enjoyable. And you found yourself in a place full of comfort, feeling happy and pleased with how your life had gone.
You never wondered when it'll end though, since things kept distracting you from it. But will it really end up good?
Who knows.
You never tried to think about the future.
...
"Oh.. this is interesting."
A man with his familiar white coat stood in the darkness, his eyes glowing menacingly in the dark as he observed his test subjects.
After bothering a villain to borrow him more nomu, the poor guy had no choice but to just send him some as he was getting tired with the madman's antics and craziness. And making him turn to dust wasn't going to work, because then he'd probably fail to get the kid he wanted to have.
Back to the man, his eyes flickered, a pleased grin always on his lips as he watched the nomu screech and writhe over whatever he put into them.
He was a really determined man, and until he was captured ( which to him, he didn't think it was possible ), he'd continue his experiments. Continue, and continue, until he has succeeded in capturing that escaped lab rat of his, and probably bask in the victory of watching a few heroes meet their downfall.
Oh, it played real good in his mind. And he was sure he'd end up playing it good.
