13: Why me?

Your head is spinning. Like your brain running in absolute pointless circles for some time. It's technically throbbing, and of course, you weren't having any of it.

This reminds you of the days you spent in that lab.

Head hurts, it hurts so bad.

Everything feels really weird. Like your body was reshaping or something like that, you didn't want to know.

Was the atmosphere always this hot? It's burning hot, one small huff of your breath and you can already see the smoke. Or maybe you were just plain hallucinating.

What the hell is going on?

You heard the door open, but you were too tired to even bat an eye toward it. Too bad, you'd just have to take in everything that happens to you for now.

"Hm, why, are you feeling sick?"

The man's voice was muffled to your ears, your brain was hurting already, stop with the extra salt on the wound.

Without even thinking much, you blurted out a word.

"noisy.."

Maybe it was the adrenaline? Does that even apply in here? You're too tired to think.

Well, the man didn't look too pleasant to hear that word from your mouth. Let alone even had the thought of you opening your mouth to speak.

His eyes narrowed at you, expression annoyed as he reached out and grabbed you by the collar of your shirt, dragging you up to meet his eye level.

Cruel, it should be the other way round.

"That's the first time I see you use your mouth for something else rather than whining all the time." he scoffed, but then suddenly had the most wonderful idea to tease you. Wonderful, really. "Look at how pathetic you are, can't even stand a fever. If you're going to be so weak like this, I bet that hero will soon abandon you... and you'll end up with me, forever."

Forever?

It seems as if his plan worked greatly, as he noticed tears form from your tired droopy eyes. With a chuckle, he let go of you, a thud echoing the entire room. The words 'pathetic' left his mouth once again, then his presence left your sight.

Did he really mean that?

What a great way to greet more suffering, mentally, and physically.

His words lingered in your head, even if you slowly dozed off to sleep again because of exhaustion, it was still there.

"That kid is fucking sick to the point he can't even move. We'll just have to stall it to later." Kyoshi muttered angrily.

What a waste of time, he thought.

What a waste of stuff.

But it makes quite sense, since the thing he injected in you had a much stronger effect.

He had no choice but to wait it out. You're just a young kid, he couldn't expect nothing better. Maybe it was his fault for picking you, a kid that he thinks is actually weak and frail.

No choice now, you're all he's got. Not in the way he cares for you or anything, in the way to make Shigaraki happy, that is.

In his eyes, you're nothing but something to be trained strong and work for someone he made a stupid deal with.

That's all you live for.

"There must be a way to find him, if not, how did they find him otherwise?"

Aizawa had decided to look for his friend, the detective again to help. It took a moment to think since he didn't want to push this problem to anyone else.

He promised to protect you.

Now look what happened, you failed.

His brows were furrowed, as he felt the sense of regret. The whole world just seemed to go dead silent.

"Uh, Aizawa?..."

"..."

"Aizawa!" he felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking right, he saw his blonde friend, looking at him with a worried expression.

"I apologize.." Aizawa let out a sigh, shaking his head. "Please continue."

"Let me summarize, we were just talking about how they managed to find the kid. And how they did it. But most importantly, where is he now?"

"Is there a tracker or something?"

"Most probably not. We did check everything that could be wrong after all."

"Right..."

This is going nowhere. Why does things have to be so hard... Aizawa was starting to feel a tad bit hopeless.

No. I cant give up on him just like that.

Talking about location...

"If we were in their place, we might choose the most unexpected place possible. Like a place where anyone rarely visits." Aizawa stated with a stern determined look. That sounds about right to him.

"Hmm, good point.."

"Plus, they still have to get resources. We just have to trace them from there." he continued.

I hope they're feeding you well.. or else-

"Okay, that might just be our plan." the detective nodded.

"Wow, look who's being determined." the blonde chuckled as he nudged his fellow friend's shoulder.

The man only gave him a shrug. He wasn't wrong.

Let's just hope this goes well...

"Oi, get up. I'm not gonna let you slack off all day."

The sound of his voice was enough to let you jolt awake. What is he going to do now? You're fucking tired...

"I don't have any of those machines anymore.. so you'll be training with real people instead.." Kyoshi seemed to be really interested when he spoke of this. His grin was plastered back on his face.

Talk about being a plain psycho.

"They're not going to hold back on ya, so you better know what you have to do."

As soon as you know it, you were dragged outside of this dark hellhole. But that doesn't mean outside would be any better.

It looks so trashed here.

In front of you were a huge guy, he was staring right at you, with his fists ready. One look was enough to let you know what was happening, a wave of fear washing over you as your body started to tremble.

Why?

My procrastination seems to be getting good at convincing me I can do it later but oh well
