"Hmmm.."

"Hehe.."

Breeze.. so cool.

It brushed over your skin every so lightly, as if you felt it's soft caress. The moonlight, shone its protecting barrier on you, protecting you from the darkness that you never deserved to be in. The stars, the night sky... so beautiful.

Is this what people call... 'freedom'?

To you, it was. This is freedom.

Freedom..

A soft smile can't help but creep itself onto your face now, as you took in everything that surrounded you. It was so nice.. so.. good.

"Hmmhmmm..." the blonde hero hummed a random tune while scavenging for a few snacks in the kitchen. After all that hard work trying to capture a swift and agile tiger, who wouldn't be hungry?

Why, it's so silent. I probably did a good job.

Yes, yes I did.

But it wouldn't hurt to just check him out right?

And so he did..

A small creak from the door, and two green eyes appeared in the small door space. It focused on the bed, where everything seemed normal. Pillows.. the blanket with something in it. Yes, everything's fine.

The blanket just so happened to cover a few pillows.. no one would even know how it did that.. so coincidentally.

Well, someone would probably have to find out soon.

//

Mew..

"One... two kitty.." you mumbled, hand brushing over a cat's fluffy fur as another nuzzled it's head into your other hand. You can't help but let out a few chuckles of joy.

You were having fun in your own way, in an alleyway. No one knows where you are, and you already seemed like you'd forgotten your original goals of this little adventure. But regardless, who'd want to ruin a kid's fun?

Prrrr...

The sound of cats purring, made you feel at ease. The cats are content, you were also content. Fair's fair. If only Aizawa was here, maybe he'd have just as much fun. Well, probably.

Come to think of it... where is he now?

"mmm.. soft.. so soft.."

You're distracted.

Playing with strays isn't that bad.. you could somehow understand what they're doing, and they all seem to like you as much. Maybe animals is just your thing..

//

Drizzles of raindrops started falling from the sky, making small wet patches on the ground, until it slowly started pouring down out of nowhere.

It was probably late midnight by now, and Aizawa thought it'd probably be for the best if he returned home just a little early. Just for the sake of you.

He didn't know if he made the right choice or not, but it was something he thought was useless to thing so deep into now. You're much more important, anyway.

His boots made a gentle tap in those wet puddles, not a single splatter made. He still made sure no one was secretly on his tail or anything, he's not taking any chances. Not like last time...

The only thing he wanted to see was you, peacefully sleeping on the bed without any disturbances.

Then he'd relax.

...

"im back." Aizawa mumbled, stepping into his home with soaked clothes, and his hair hanging down his face like wet seaweed from the ocean.

Yamada jolted slightly at his presence, "Woah there, you look like a ghost!"

"He's asleep right?" he said bluntly, without even acknowledging the last sentence that came out of his friends mouth. The blonde simply let out a defeated sigh,

"Yes. And I've never thought he'd be such a beast."

"At least you know."

A soft grunt left Aizawa's lips as he 'waddled' his way toward the bedroom to get a new change of clothes, because he was literally soaking wet from the rain. Slowly, the door creaked open and he quietly slid in.

Weird..

He felt his body shiver slightly at the sudden low temperature, feeling a cool breeze against his wet clothes. "Why is it so cold.." he took a small glance at the window, finding out that it was clearly open.

Wait. Why is it open?

Fuck.

"Kid?-" quickly rushing towards the bed, he flipped open the blanket covers... to find a bunch of pillows chucked underneath. So much for that hope of you sleeping peacefully..

"Goddamnit..!" he cursed under his breath, sprinting towards the window now as he took a look outside. No one. Only the eerie silence blowing into his ears, making his mistake known.

"Isss everything alright in here?"

"The kid! He's gone!"

"Wait, what?!" he took a glance at the bed, as his jaw dropped onto the ground. "Wha- since when did he turn into pillows?"

"Not the time, Yamada..." Aizawa grumbled with furrowed eyebrows, rubbing his temples.

"Alright.. maybe he's nearby?? But since it's raining now.."

"That isn't a problem. I'm heading out, now."

"uh..."

The blonde stared at his fellow friend rush out the door, as a slight pang of guilt hit him right there and then. But he shook it off, trying to regain his grip.

"I'll help."

"Hehehe... no worry kitty... Kio* help cover rain!"

"Not wet.. fur dry.."

"I love rain!"
