A few days in the hospital, a few days for Aizawa to be stuck with you clinging onto him all day.
In the morning when you're still sleeping, he tried multiple times to sneak out and away to get at least a drip of coffee, but somehow you'd magically sense it and look at him with your teary eyes full of betrayal.
Without a choice, he went back to sit by your side.
If this separation issue keeps going on, he's afraid it'll get worse if he'd have to get out on patrol one day. Especially if the sky was as dark as the void, where multiple criminals and villains would roam the silent night.
But then he felt a bit... conflicted. Whenever Midoriya or Bakugou would come visit, you'd somehow forget all about him. To the point where he could walk right out the door in your view, no matter how loud he made his footsteps to be, you wouldn't notice a thing.
Aizawa was... jealous, in a way that now makes him feel better with you acting like this all day.
Now, I shouldn't have introduced them at all..
Wait, don't think this way. Kiogo* would be lonely.
Okay, shut up Shouta. You're better than this.
Looking at your sleeping form rested against his chest, with your tail wrapped fucking tightly around his arm, he forced a smile. A smile where if anyone would ever take a look at him, they'd think he was crazy. But this smile wasn't directed to anyone, instead it was to himself.
I... give up... Might as well go along.
With a sigh, his hand ran through your hair, patting it gently, while he too, leaned back and took a nap.

Aizawa sat silently beside you as a nurse came in to change your bandages. He was looking the whole way, as the old bandages get unwrapped one by one, more scars just happen to reveal itself.. especially that huge burn scar.
Looking at it himself, he winced. But when he took a glance at you, you seem as content as ever, as if pain isn't even in one of your 'danger categories'. Maybe you developed a high tolerance for it, he thought.
But that still doesn't change the fact that you're getting hurt.
"zawa... okay?.." it was like you could read his thoughts, you spoke up afterwards. He looked at you, and your tilted head.
With a slight nod, he answered a simple "I'm okay." but his expression says otherwise.
"Hmm, not stupie... zawa sad!" you said as he saw your eyebrows furrow. Of course you weren't stupid, sometimes, you were really just a fast learner. Aizawa could only sigh as a faint smile appeared on his face.
"Yeah, okay, you got me." he answered, raising both his arms in the air as a sign of defeat.
"but why..."
Your words instantly made Aizawa frown. Why? Is it really appropriate to tell you why he felt that way? Sure, he could be straightforward with you, but you were simply a kid. It would be fine if it was his students though.
"Hmm.."
"is not bad... this... cool."
"What? What is?"
"scar."
You were... a really strange kid. Not in a bad way, though. Aizawa blinked twice after hearing your words. You thought scars were cool? That was.. nice to hear, in a way.
"Well, if you think it's cool. Then it is." he patted your head. "Sometimes it just shows how strong you are, dealing with all these problems.." he continued on.
Hearing that, your eyes lit up. Yes, it was really cool!
"You seem to be a really great father to him." the nurse finally spoke up, as she finished doing your bandages.
Aizawa immediately flinched in response. Come to think of it, he forgot there was someone else in the room while talking to you.
"Yeah.. But I'm.. just taking care of him, for now." he responded, scratching his hair in awkwardness.
"Mhm, I'm sure you are.. I'll be heading out now." the nurse gave off a smile, walking out of the room you were in since she finished her job in here.
"Yeah, yeah..."
While Aizawa sat in his chair thinking about what the nurse said, you saw his face redden faintly and scrunch into some confused expression. It was funny.
Before you knew it, you just gave out a giggle. It felt so normal somehow.
Aizawa switched his gaze straight to you, "Are you... laughing?" his face turned to a face of surprise, before letting out a smile. "Hey, what's so funny, hm?"
"Zawa face... tomatos" you continued giggling, pointing at his face.
"Oh, really now? Im sure it wasn't as red as a tomato, right?..."
Aizawa could only shrug as he let out a sigh, though he could admit you were acting quite adorable. It's his first time seeing you smile and giggle like nothing has ever happened, even if it was at some stupid thing.
"Okay, stop laughing, it isn't funny." he crossed his arms.
"Yes, funni... Zawa funni"
"No.."
"Yes"
"No"
"Yeah!"
"Okay, you- C'mere."
"Aaah! Zawa monster!"
