Watchers and Listeners - Grian is a watcher. Martyn, Jimmy, Pearl, and BigB are Listeners. Listeners can hear Watchers, but it's based on distance. They often talk directly to Martyn so he hears them loudly whereas if they were speaking to him from a distance Pearl would only hear them faintly. Rouge watchers such as Grian hear other Watchers only when they are loud or talking over each other. He doesn't hear them when they speak to Martyn as it is usually one at a time. Xornoth is working/under the control of the Watchers. They possess people very rarely and only the older Watchers are strong enough to do it. They can not see the future and there are certain things that Watchers have no control over.
There is no regeneration, if ya die, ya die.
Makeshift wings are Elytra to the Rulers. Makeshifts rely on fuel in order to actually get into the air, and then go faster. Essentially the fuel works as rockets would. They are very expensive and usually only available to those with money. Gem, Jimmy, Lizzie, and Shelby don't have wings. But only Jimmy uses a Makeshift as Lizzie thinks they are quite uncomfortable, Gem uses her staff to teleport everywhere and also she likes a walk, and Shelby doesn't like to be off the ground.

This story will be set in both the Empires SMP world and the 3rd Life game. Gem and Pearl have not yet joined Hermitcraft(season 8)
The Watchers want to watch Grian suffer because he decided to abandon them for his friends, the games end up being their way of that while originally their soul purpose was entertainment.
