The hospital room was cold and unwelcoming, which was good because you weren't planning to stay. You had a wedding to attend in two weeks and weren't trying to extend your stay any longer.

You had a minor fracture in your arm and a few bruised ribs, but the robot took most of the blows otherwise. Gru ended up with a concussion, and Dru ended up with more separation anxiety.

The clock struck 6 A.M. and your room door gently opened, "sorry that took so long. It was hard to find the bathroom."

Dru gently shut the door and sat by you, "Sweetheart, you can go home, you know. I'm only here for two more days. You don't need to keep sleeping on these chairs, I know they're uncomfortable."

Dru shook his head, "I never want to be separated from you, even in death."

You chuckled, "And if you don't want to, you don't have to be."

You understood that he was terrified of losing you again. Terrified is an understatement.

During those minutes of being trapped under the robot, you passed out. The only thing that woke you up was Dru's cries for you, making you use a broken rod from the cage to slam it against the robot's head.

It was hard, considering the drug in your system still had most of your movement and strength then. You both got lucky he could hear you over the commotion.

-.-

Fritz opened the door for the girls as they entered the mansion, "This never gets old."

The dark-skinned woman sighed, entering the large halls covered in artwork as the smaller girl giggled, "You can say that again. Anita, when can we visit Y/n?"

Anita shook her head, removing her shades, "We can see her when she comes home, Dru is with her at the hospital. We need to focus on the Bachelorette Party and the Wedding itself. Nalu is checking on the fabric."

She scoffed, "As if that asshat's a better party planner than me." The other two girls laughed at the older one's attitude.

"You can't get mad at him if he's taking a large chunk of responsibility off of Y/n's shoulders. As her maid of honor, you, out of all people, should be grateful for the help.

Your job is to make sure that her wedding runs smoothly and, most importantly, she enjoys it." Xiao smiled at Anita before sipping her margarita.

"I take care of the flowers and favors, Tash is taking care of the catering and the cake, and Nelu is taking care of securing the venue and creating her dress. You have to take care of everything else." Xiao picked up a mini quiche as Fritz sat with the girls.

"The maid of honor has much to do, you know. Make sure the bride looks radiant in all of her photos, pouring wine down women's dresses when they wear white, and managing the events. It's a tough job, you know." Fritz sipped his Pina Colada as Anita groaned.

"I know, but Nelu? He's so -" The girls cut Anita off.

"How?"

"Sexy?"

"Muscular?"

"Fritz!" Anita looked at the butler with wide eyes.

"What? It's not like I'm blind you know. Just because he beat you to the Monroe Pearls doesn't mean you can throw a fit over it every time. Put your differences aside for Y/n." He sipped his drink again.

"Besides, I think you're better off dealing with Nelu than those two love birds. I went to drop some food off and almost hurled." Fritz had shivers down his spine.

"Why?" Natasha looked to Fritz, sitting up as he started to explain.

-.-

"I think I got it," Dru said, holding your hands.

"Ready?" You asked the blonde as he nodded, "I."

"Love," he giggled.

"You." You smiled as he understood.

"My turn!" You nodded and spoke first, "I."

"Love."

"You." His eyes widened, "I said, 'love' that time!"

"Yes, you did -" You kissed him, "God, you're so cute."

Dru flopped on the bed as you scooted to the side to give him more room, "I do, you know."

You turned tiredly, "Hm?"

"I truly do love you." Dru smelt your hair as you snuggled up to him.

"I love you too... I don't think I could ever love someone as much as I love you." You thought for a moment, "Well, that could be a lie."

Dru looked at you in alarm, "What?"

You looked at his baby blues, "What? You never thought of us having children?"

-.-

"I just don't understand why I can't borrow the minions for the wedding?" Anita asked as he walked down the hallway of his house.

"Because I'm busy then, so they'll be busy too." Gru passed out paperwork to minions as he walked, discussing plans.

"Too busy for your brother's wedding? I understand being upset for not being a part of the groomsmen, but you should understand that you lost that right." Anita followed the man throughout his lair.

"Listen. I get you're upset, but you'll regret not being there." she handed him his invitation, "your mother already RSVP'd."

-.-

Your head was buried in Dru's chest as light snores came from his lips. You truly would give anything to be with him for the rest of your life.

The snores stopped, but Dru didn't move, "Băiat de aur."

Nothing, "my love, I know you're awake."

You turned your head upwards, "Well since you're asleep, I'll just go -"

His grip tightened around your waist as he buried his head in your hair, "It's not fair. You always know when I'm faking it."

You chuckled, but his morning voice sent a flurry of butterflies to the pit of your stomach.

You kissed his cheek, "because I know some things that you don't."

He held you tighter as your kisses made their way to his neck. He squirmed from the way it tickled.

"Let's see... we have the rehearsal." You kissed his shoulder, "the bachelor party." You kissed the nape of his neck.

"The wedding," you kissed the underside of his chin, "hm... what am I missing?"

Dru looked down at you. One hand made its way to the back of your head, "the honeymoon."

He kissed your lips softly, "I cannot wait for that day to come."

"The rest of our lives." Dru smiled at the thought.

"You do remember our vows?" You hummed as you played with the curls on the underside of his hair.

"How could I not? It's how I feel inside and out." He kissed your forehead,

"Everything I've ever wanted is in my hands right now."

-.-

Lowkey scared to write the vows since I'll have to outdo the ones I wrote for Blood Moon. I think I'll do good, tho.

Love you all and thank you for your support. <3
