Atsumu was casually chatting with Benny when he felt a tap on his shoulder from behind.
Turning around, he met Sakusa's awkward smile with Maru sitting on his shoulder, chewing on a chew toy.
"Yes, Omi?" Atsumu said.
Sakusa made this adorable expression that Atsumu couldn't quite explain before he removed Maru from his shoulder and held him out to Atsumu.
"He wants you," Sakusa said.
"What? No, he doesn't. I just had him," Atsumu protested.
But Maru proved Atsumu wrong when he made grabby hands towards him, fuzzing when Atsumu didn't take him.
Benny chuckled quietly from the side as Sakusa pushed Maru closer to Atsumu's face.
"See. He wants you," Sakusa said again.
Reluctantly, Atsumu took Maru into his arms, and the little furball immediately nestled against him, with a content smile.
