Chapter 35: Maru's First Time Ice Skating

Atsumu cradled baby Maru in his arms, gently guiding the little one's hands in an adorable attempt at dancing to the Christmas song playing from the speaker. Maru giggled, seemingly delighted by the attention. He was just happy to be near Atsumu.

Sakusa watched them, a small, genuine smile tugging on his lips.

Atsumu, catching Sakusa's gaze, laughed, "enjoying the view, Omi?"

Sakusa nodded, never taking his eyes off of them. "You and Maru make quite the dance duo."

Atsumu grinned, bouncing Maru playfully on his lap. "Maru's just a happy and jumpy baby that's all, Omi."

Sakusa's eyes gleamed with a teasing glint. "Well, you're not doing too bad yourself. Quite the baby whisperer, aren't you, Atsu?"

Atsumu chuckled, "Maybe it's just the power of my mesmerizing dance moves, Omi~"

Sakusa couldn't help but play along, "Or maybe Maru's secretly the choreographer."

As they bantered, Maru, in his infant joy, seemed to amplify the festive atmosphere. Atsumu, still swaying with the baby, shot Sakusa a mischievous look.

"Care to join the baby dance party, Omi?" Atsumu challenged, a twinkle in his eyes.

Sakusa hesitated for a moment, then with a subtle smirk, he acquiesced, "Fine, but only because Maru's got moves."

Atsumu beams and so does Maru. Maru was just glad to be there and to be happily sandwiched between the both of them, enjoying the attention from both Sakusa and Atsumu.

"Oh my god, Omi! He's doing it! Look! Maru's doing it!" Atsumu said as he held Maru's arm up for balance as the baby tried to skate. Because after all, he was almost one years old in one month.

Akira squealed as she clings to Atsumu's leg, and Shogo doing the same.

"How cute is that..." Hinata says next to Komori.

Shirabu's expression softened as he watched Atsumu handle Maru with care. He was getting baby fever all over again.

"He's so cute!" Komori said with his phone out recording Maru from all different angles as Hinata does the same.

Sakusa secretly admires Atsumu from behind.

Semi held his boyfriend Shirabu closer to him. Because he could feel the baby fever kicking in already.

"That's right, baby. Keep going, you're doing so good, Maru." Atsumu sweetly pep talked.

Maru giggles, moving around the ice as he tried to walk which made everyone laugh at the adorable scene.

"Wanna try too, Yusuke?" Atsumu said looking over to the little boy who look like he wanted to play with Maru too.

Yusuke seem uncertain but after a little push from his older brother, he went over to Maru as Atsumu carefully gave him Maru's hand.

When Maru saw Yusuke he giggles and smiles even more as Yusuke carefully moves him on the ice.

Atsumu smiles as he picks Akira up and makes his way over to Sakusa who was watching the scene but you can still tell he was a bit gloomy still for some reason. But he didn't want to question him, he probably didn't want anyone to question him or else he would've spoke for himself already.

As Atsumu skated next to Sakusa, Maru's infectious laughter echoed around them.

Atsumu, holding Akira, couldn't help but beam with pride as he watched Maru and Yusuke on the ice.

"That's my babies!" he says as Akira snuggled into his neck.

Maru, with Yusuke's help, continued his wobbly journey on the ice. Babbling and giggling at Yusuke as Yusuke could only grin and try to speak baby too.

Hinata and Komori were still capturing every adorable moment on their phones, trading excited glances whenever they catch the 'perfect moment.'

Semi, observing Shirabu's baby fever, couldn't resist teasing him, "I see you imagining our future ice-skating baby, Shira."

Shirabu blushed, swatting Semi's arm playfully. "Shut up, Semi. Let me enjoy this cuteness without your commentary."

Semi pouts cutely, placing his hand over his heart, "I'm hurt."

Shirabu rolls his eyes playfully, "suck it up, Eita~"

Semi smirks, leaning in a bit closer to Shirabu, "Just admit it, Shira. You're already picking out baby names in that head of yours."

Shirabu scoffs, trying to hide a smile, "Yeah, right. Like I'd let you have a say in naming our imaginary ice-skating baby."

Hinata, overhearing, chimes in, "Ooh, what about 'Axel'? It's a cool name, right?"

Komori nods in agreement, "Or 'Blizzard'—keeping it icy!"

Semi grins, "See, Shira, even they agree with me."

Shirabu shakes his head, but there's a hint of laughter in his eyes, "You're all ridiculous. I'm just enjoying the moment."

Semi winks, "Sure, sure. Enjoying the moment of planning our Olympic champion's future skating career~"

Sakusa scrunched his nose at what he heard.

They're such dorks.

"You guys are already planning on having kids? And raising Olympic kids? You guys are crazy," Sakusa says shaking his head while chuckling a slightly.

Semi grins, hugging his boyfriend who rolls his eyes at him but anyone can tell how much Shirabu really loves his boyfriend.

"Shira, here, has been getting the baby fever lately~" Semi says.

Sakusa genuinely smiles at them with a hint of tease. "I can see that."

"Oh shut up, Sakusa." Shirabu says.

Sakusa grins, "this is what I get for taking care of your little brothers, Shirabu?"

Semi laughs a little as Shirabu rolls his eyes again.

Komori screeched as Hinata was right besides him taking so many photos and videos of the kids on the ice again.

Sakusa looks over to them before he noticed that someone was missing. When he scans around the ice rink his eyes finally lands on him. Atsumu.

Atsumu look like he was in a deep call with someone and Sakusa knew who it was obviously. His boyfriend. It made him bitter for obvious reasons, like how he likes Atsumu and wants him all to himself. Yeah, you can say that Sakusa really likes Atsumu and his jealousy can't be help.
