In the quiet seclusion near the rink, Sakusa leaned against the weathered brick walls, exhaling tendrils of smoke.

Atsumu observed him with mild confusion, before witnessing Sakusa discarding his cigarette and crushing it beneath his sole.

"Omi, why are you so gloomy today? Are you still sad over how you thought I wouldn't come?" Atsumu lightly giggles trying to lighten the atmosphere, but when Sakusa didn't respond to him, Atsumu's features turned concern as he inched closer to him.

"Omi? You okay?" Atsumu tried to grab Sakusa's attention, but he seemed to be so in his head for some odd reason.

Growing worried, Atsumu moved closer again, finally resorting to gently grasping Sakusa's chin to redirect his distant gaze on him.

"Omi, what's wrong? I've been talking to you for the past few minutes and you totally ignored me. Wanna talk about it?" Atsumu said.

Despite Sakusa's momentary glance at him, he rolled his eyes, scoffed, and averted his gaze.

Atsumu dropped his hands, confused by Sakusa's odd behavior.

Now Atsumu didn't take disrespect like this, he was only trying to uplift Sakusa's spirits. But Sakusa just wasn't feeling it at the moment.

Frustrated by Sakusa's dismissive gestures, Atsumu confronted him.

"Okay. What is it, huh? Why are you acting like a little baby, rolling your eyes and making sounds at me. Did I do something wrong, Omi?" Atsumu demanded, but Sakusa remained silent, fueling Atsumu's frustration even more. He just wanted to know what was bothering him.

Determined to break the barrier against them, Atsumu got up close, placing both hands on Sakusa's face, ensuring that they held eye contact because Sakusa wasn't going anywhere.

Furrowing his eyebrows, Atsumu maintained an intense gaze.

"Tell me what's wrong, and I'll let go, Omi," he urged.

Sakusa, silent yet expressive, finally sighed and nodded faintly.

A small smile broke on Atsumu's face. "Good," he said, releasing Sakusa's cheeks, the tension between them momentarily eased.

Well, for Atsumu at least.

Sakusa appeared deep in thought, while carefully choosing his words.

"Why did you go on a date with Sachiro? Maru, Akira, and the others were asking about you," he finally asked.

Atsumu frowned slightly, puzzled.

"What do you mean, Omi? Hiro's my fiancé. And while I'd love to spend time with Maru, Akira, Shogo, and Yusuke, I promised Hiro our date comes first. You should understand that, Omi."

Sakusa couldn't seem to contain his jealousy as he responds by rolling his eyes at Atsumu's explanation.

Atsumu didn't understand why Sakusa was acting this way, so he asked, "I'm not convinced that the kids aren't the only issue for you, Omi. What's really bothering you, hm?"

Sakusa, unable to contain his jealousy, retorted, "You want to know what's really bothering me?"

"Yes, I do," Atsumu affirmed, curiously.

"Your damn fiancé is the problem! I can't understand how you'd go on a date with that bastard," Sakusa seethed, his jealousy getting the better of him.

"Are you joking, Omi?" Atsumu said as he looks at Sakusa who was looking away from him. Atsumu scoffed in disbelief. "Are you jealous of Hiro, Omi?"

Sakusa clicked his tongue. "Yes, I'm jealous of him." he replied.
