A red pickup truck pulls into the driveway at a farm house. In the truck an African American man named Lee, hops out of the passenger side, holding the door open for the small boy, Clement. Lee then shuts the door as the driver, Shawn, gets out as well. Lee then glanced over to the back of the truck seeing Chet, jumping out of the back.

Shawn and Chet, rescued Lee and Clement when Clement's neighborhood got flooded with the undead. "Hey, Shawn... I'm a' run on home. My mama's gonna be in a snit." Chet said, stretching his arms. "No sweat, man. I'll catch you tomorrow night." Shawn replied, smiling a bit. "It was nice to meet ya both." Chet said, looking over at Lee and Clement. Lee nodded a bit and waved to the man as he walked away, Clement walked over to Lee and grabbed his left hand, making Lee hold his hand.

The front door of the house opened, revealing an older man. "Thank goodness, you're okay." He spoke in relief, walking over to Shawn. "I was worried it'd be bad here, too." Shawn sighed, hugging the older man. "Been quiet as usual the past couple days. Ol' Breckon down the way thinks his mare's gone lame but that ain't nothing new." The older man said, making Shawn shrug. "I wouldn't have made it back without Chet." Shawn spoke. "Well, I'm glad you took him with you then." The older man said, before turning over to look at Lee, as he and Clem walked up to the two.

"You've brought a couple guests." The man said, putting his hands on his hips. "Your boy's a lifesaver." Lee spoke, making Shawn smile a bit and nod. "Glad he could be of help to somebody. So it's just you and your son then." The older man said, making Shawn speak up, "Oh, not his son, he was his babysitter." The older man then bent down to Clement's height. "Son, do you know this man?" "Yes." Clem nodded, looking at the older man. "Ok then." The older man said, nodding his head at the little boy before standing back up, "Well, looks like you hurt your leg pretty bad there." The old man said, looking down at Lee's bloody leg.

"Yeah it's not doing so good." Lee spoke, making the older man nod. "I can help you out. Shawn, run on in and check on your sister. You, take a seat up on the porch and I'll go see what I have." The man said, as he and Shawn walked into the house. Lee then walked onto the porch and sat down on a bench, Clem following behind. The man walked back out of the house and looked at Clem, shaking his head slightly before walking over to Lee. "Let's have a look." The man said, as Lee lifted his leg up for the old man, "Yeah, this is swollen to h*ll." "It HURTS like h*ll." Lee sighed, grunting a bit. "I bet it does. What'd you say your name was?" The old man asked, looking at Lee's name again. "It's Lee."

"Nice to meet you, Lee. I'm Hershel Greene." Hershel introduced, putting a bandage around Lee's leg, making Lee groan in pain. "How'd this happen?" Hershel asked, as Lee winced in pain. "Car accident." Lee answered, nodding his head. "That so." Hershel said, shaking his head, "Where were you headed? Before the car accident?" He asked.

"I was getting out of Atlanta." Lee replied, making Hershel look up at him. "The news says stay. "Hershel said. "Yeah, well that's a mistake. We hit a guy, one of those things you've been hearing about, on the road." Lee said, thinking back to when he was in the back of the police car heading to prison. "Who were you with, the boy?" Hershel asked, curious. "I was with a police officer. He was giving me a ride." Lee answered, honestly. "Awful nice of him." Hershel said, nodding his head. "I'm an awful nice guy." Lee said, smiling a bit.

"House is full up with mine. We've got another displaced family of four sleeping in the barn. You and your son are welcome to rest there, when we're done here." Hershel said to Lee, before turning around to look at the young boy who was watching them talk. "I didn't catch your name, son." Hershel said, looking at the young shy boy. "Clem-Clement." He answered, shyly. "Can't imagine what you've been through, Clement." Hershel said, shaking his head. "I'm looking after him until we find his parents." Lee spoke up, as Shawn walking out of the house.
