☆ The Night We Met ☆

Y/N POV

It was a normal day at the Emperors Coven like any other.

I finished healing Steve and sat down staring into the window of the Healing Room. The place i spend my days in, healing scouts and sometimes even Coven Heads, although today was not one of those days. I healed a couple minor injuries on some scouts and just stared into the window most of the time.

My shift was almost done, so I begin packing my stuff, when all of a sudden in the hallway outside of the Healing Room i could hear footsteps and groaning, most likely in pain. I turned to face the door and was shocked to see the one and only Golden Guard. He was covered in bruises, cuts and blood. He sat down on one of the beds and I walked over to him and without any questions begin healing him, he seemed in a lot of pain. I was quickly done, but quite tired since those were some major injuries that took a lot of energy and strength. I opened a notebook where I had informations about people working in the coven and all of their previous injuries.

"Golden Guard, sir, I need you to tell me what caused these injuries."
I looked up at him waiting for his response.

"Slitherbeast, mission at the Knee"
He replied, his voice emotionless and cold.

I wrote the information needed in the notebook and set it aside.
"Some wounds arent fully healed because of lack of materials needed, so you will need to come back tomorrow morning, when we receive the materials"
I said trying not to sound nervous.

'what are the chances THE GOLDEN GUARD comes right at the end of my shift, jeez' I thought as he nodded and got up

"Alright then, I'll see you tomorrow morning-..."
He glanced at my name tag that was attached to my uniform
"-Y/N"
I smiled slightly, he left and i was panicking

'HE KNOWS MY NAME NOW!! wait but its always attached to my uniform so everyone can see it... BUT HE SAID IT OUT LOUD!!.. wait will he remember it? I guess I'll have to wait and see'
I quickly packed my stuff and left the Healing Room and headed over to my and my parents shared room. As I walked in I saw them sitting on the couch scrolling through pensagram on their scroll. They heard me walking and looked up.

"Oh hey kiddo, you stayed after-work, is everything okay?"
They said, slight concern in their voice

"No no, just got a patient last minute"
I smiled and set my stuff in my room.

It was getting late so i said goodnight to Raine and sat in my bed, scrolling through pensagram like usual. I soon started drifting off to sleep, so i set my scroll on my table and layed down on my bed and fell asleep pretty quickly.

☆TIMESKIP TO MORNING☆

I woke up at 6AM sharp and tiredly got out of bed, but I knew i had to finish healing The Golden Guard quickly and hurry up so I'm not late to class. I quickly got dressed and said goodbye to Raine and rushed to the Healing Room and like expected after a couple minutes at 6:30AM sharp he showed up.

"Goodmorning, Y/N"
He said casually and sat down on the same bed he sat on yesterday.

I was nervous and excited, but i tried masking those emotions and acting normal.
"Goodmorning, Golden Guard."
A bit of nervousness in my voice as i talked.
'HE REMEMBERED MY NAME NO WAY AHHHHHHHHH-'
My mind was exploding right now but i kept calm and went over to him, this time with the materials needed and started healing the injuries.

"So.... um- how old are you..?"
He said trying to make small talk.

"er... 16"
My voice was slightly shaky because I was putting almost all of my energy in the healing.

"Oh.. same."
His reply sounded like he was quite shocked to learn this information.

As I was almost done healing him, I felt like he suddenly got really nervous, but then he spoke.

"I-um would you like to.. er- maybe.. be friends..?"
He asked nervously and unsure of his words.

I was definitely shocked, but I needed to respond, so I said what was obvious.
"uh yeah, of course."

He seemed even more shocked than me.
"Really..?"
The question seemed like he couldn't believe that someone actually wanted to be his friend.

"Yeah!"
I said and a smile crept into my face. He smiled back.. i think, his mask moved slightly upwards so yeah.

'he smiled back... HE SMILED BACK!!!'
My mind was again exploding but I once again kept calm and finished healing him.
"You're fully healed Goldie."
"Thanks, N/N"
"You're welcome"
He got up, smiled at me (i again think he did) and left with a wave and I smiled and waved back.
'NO DUCKING WAY OH MY TITAN!!'
I was freaking out but I saw the time and realised that I'm gonna be late to class if i dont hurry up, so I packed my stuff and begin making my way toward Hexide.

A/N
I hope you enjoyed reading this chapter as much as i enjoyed writing it .
New chapter is going to come out soon (hopefully).
Im gonna update my uploading schedule based on how this week goes, but I'll post at least twice a week dw.
