Under the invisibility spell, Lizzie and Mercedes had followed Ethan and MG to a barn belonging to a friend of Ethan. Asleep in the barn, was Finch after wolfing out.
Mercedes watched the girl sleeping peacefully, before she turned to Lizzie. "Maybe this was a mistake... Finch doesn't look like she'd be a killer. If you killed someone, how could you sleep that peacefully at night?" The hellhound asked.
"We can't be so sure. The fact that you have to kill somebody to activate a werewolf curse does make me suspicious." Lizzie admitted as Mercedes sighed, "Me too."
MG and Ethan walked back into the barn. "Superheroes are supposed to save people, not kidnap them." Ethan pointed out before MG responded, "I should probably get Dr. Saltzman down here.... though he'll ask why we're keeping Finch out here in the barn of the family you're staying with." He realised.
"Wait, you haven't told him yet?" Ethan asked as MG shook his head, "Well, I was worried if I told him I didn't compel your memories away, our days of superhero team-up would be over."
"Okay, look, I need you. Just put on your secret identity, all right? Go to school and act normal while I deal with this. The Blur and E-man got to take a day off." MG suggested with a smile, though Ethan didn't seem fond of the hero names MG had given them.
"Fine. I will sign off on laying low, but not the superhero names." The Machado replied as MG tried to think of some better superhero names, "What? Um, um, E... money? Hmm. E-commerce? Right?"
"I'll think of some better ones in geometry class." Ethan said with a chuckle, before he left to walk to school.
"Invisique saeclum." Lizzie removed the invisibility spell, making Mercy and Lizzie visible to MG now. The vampire gasped, "Mercy, Lizzie. How... How long have you..." He trailed off as Lizzie spoke up, "Long enough to know that you've been playing dress-up with a muggle."
"Just give me a chance to explain. I didn't want to lie to your dad, but the only other choice was wiping Ethan's mind." MG began to ramble as Lizzie interrupted, "We're not here to bust up your bromance."
Mercedes eyes averted to the sleeping wolf, "Tahlia really likes Finch.." She began as MG shrugged, "You should probably just be happy for her."
"That would be premature. Because Finch has obviously already activated her curse." Lizzie pointed out as Mercedes sighed, "Meaning she's killed someone."
"Maybe it was an accident?" Jade's voice piped up, as MG looked confused as the Salvatore entered the barn. "Jade?" He asked.
