I wouldn't exactly say I'm normal.

I'm a 17 year old guy, average looks, B average, ok at sports, never had a girlfriend, only has ever had a few friends. Sounds pretty simple. Well except a few things. Like the fact my parents are divorced and my dad lives in Europe with his new twenty year old wife while my mom is trying to keep her life together and take care of my sister and I. Or the fact that I'm gay. And have a boyfriend. And its a very low key relationship, as in only a few people outside our families knows.

Yeah, definitely not normal there.

My family life is a wreck but honestly I don't care. As long as my little sister is safe I don't mind. My mom can take care of herself and I don't really give a crap about my dad.

The whole gay thing is a completely different story. I guess it started when I decided that I didn't really care all that much about girls appearance wise while all the other guys were chasing them left and right. I didn't really find guys attractive either though so I just let my best friend Danny pave the way to apparent heterosexuality.

When I did start taking a liking to guys I'll never know but what I do know is one day Danny and I went to a party at an acquaintance's house. Danny disappeared into doing who knows what and I just was standing around taking in the drunken disaster which was that party. I wasn't all that much of a heavy drinker myself being the designated driver, not that Danny was a heavy drinker either but I knew how he got sometimes.

Bored to death I went to get a drink and on my way over I bumped into someone who also managed to spill their beer all over me. I looked up a bit at a guy who was about an inch or two taller than me which wasn't odd figuring I wasn't too tall or anything. He was hot to say the least and I usually didn't think about guys like that. He had brown hair and blue eyes that I couldn't really tear away from.

"Oh my god dude, I'm so sorry. Here let me help you out." Random guy said snapping me out of my daze and lead me to a random bathroom by my wrist. He lightly pushed me into the bathroom and closed the door behind him.

"Take off your shirt."

Whoa there buddy, slow your role.

"Um..."

"So I can throw it in the dryer..." He said trailing off at the end apparently catching my confusion and I took off my shirt like he had ordered. Weirdly enough there was a washer and dryer in the bathroom we were in and he put my shirt in the for a second.

"Sorry for that earlier I wasn't paying attention. I'm Jason by the way." He said and put his hand out for me to shake which I did.

"Taylor. And its totally fine man." I said as I met his sturdy yet not bone crushing grip.

"So what bring you here?" Jason asked.

"A friend made me come just to ditch me, probably for some girl, but being the good Samaritan I am I'm waiting to take him home." I complained and groaned a bit, I didn't mind doing it really I just had things I would have rather been doing.

"That's ruff. Must be a good friend for you to do that."

"Best friends, he's a moron but I can live with it."

"He know you're gay?"

My eyes widened at that. How the did he know? That was pretty freaky. I wasn't really afraid to come out or anything, there were gay kids at my school and they got along just fine, it was just the idea that I never found a point in it. Besides with Danny who I was a little scared of him changing his opinion of me.
