*Danny*

I sat on my bed and just kept staring at the wall deep in thought. The girl I just discovered I really like left me here to go talk to the girl I thought I liked to talk about me and my relationship with both of them. Weird. This whole day has just been odd. No, scratch that, make that the past two weeks. I met two awesome girls, thought I liked one, found out my best friend is gay and has a boyfriend, became friends with the other girl and ended up liking her. We kissed, she walked out because she felt guilty about her backstabbing her best friend. Did I fee guilty, maybe a bit but since we had never actually confessed any sort of feelings for each other I couldn't feel too bad.

My door swung open to reveal the same girl I couldn't get my mind off of. Alex simply walked over to me and kissed me, just like that. I was really too surprised to kiss back for a moment but by the time I got my head around it she had pull away. When she pulled back she put her forehead against mine and I couldn't help but smile.

"So, I'm assuming this means you like me too?" I asked her.

"Duh." She replied.

"What about Juliet?" I asked her genuinely curious. I was hoping she's alight with this whole thing figuring I did want to be friends with her still.

"She is surprisingly fine with it. I still owe her but she weirdly thinks we're perfect for each other."

"Well I agree with that." I said and even though I meant it to annoy her I also thought it was kind of true.

"So, do you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked her and she nodded before kissing me again. I could definitely get used to that.

About a week later Alex, Taylor and I were watching a movie in my room. Juliet, who regularly joined us, had to work that afternoon. I found it rather odd that Alex didn't have a shift that day, actually she wasn't working too much anymore.

"Hey, why aren't you at work?" I asked her and she looked up at me.. I had an arm wrapped around her and her head resting on my shoulder. Damn she was cute.

"I don't have a shift today." She explained as if I were some sort of idiot which I guess in her mind I was.

"But your barely there anymore. What's up?" I asked her and she sighed.

"The business isn't doing so hot and they're cutting down shifts. I don't exactly need the cash as much as the job in general so when they told me I made them give half of my shifts to Juliet. She needs it more than I do plus I kind of owe her." She said. Well that's nice of her. I smiled and pecked her lips real quick. It wasn't much but it was enough to make Taylor start moaning.

"Ugh, you guys are too sickly sweet. It's gross." Trevor complained rolling his head around.

"Says the guy with the clingy girlfriend complex with my cousin." Alex replied making Trevor stick his tongue out at her and mumble something about himself not being a girl. I laughed at the scene.

Everything ended up great. My best friend was happy as ever, my new good friend seemed happy as though nothing happened between us, not that anything really did, and I got the girl of my dreams in my arms. I guess I wasn't really expecting things to end up the way they did, with the whole Taylor thing and the fact that I ended up with Alex instead of Juliet, but I was glad they did. Life was good.
