CHAPTER ONE,
Olivia Gray stares out the window of the train, in her own little world. Singing too herself, a song her grandma once sang to her..."When I was a babe, I fell down in the holler,
When I was a girl, I fell into your arms
We fell on hard times and we lost our bright colour
You went to the dogs and I lived by my charms
I danced for my dinner, spread kisses like honey,
You stole and you gambled, and I said you should
We sang for our suppers, we drank up our money
Then one day you left, saying I was no good...""That's beautiful." Josh complimented her, taking the seat next to her, looking out at the same view. "Who wrote that?"
"My grandmother." Olivia smiled, biting on her lower lip softly, as she rested her head on the window seal. "She had a beautiful, powerful voice."
"I wish I met her."
Olivia turned to him, and gave him a faint smile. Nobody met her grandmother. She stayed hidden since the 10th annual hunger games, moving from place to place until she finally settled in a farm up north from District six. Where nobody, meaning Coriolanus Snow, could ever find her. She rested in her little old cabin, singing songs to her granddaughter, even though Olivia never knew the true meaning behind the songs until now. After the infamous, mystery that was Lucy Gray, passed away, Olivia Gray vowed to seek vengeance on the one who wronged her. To make sure that the city of Panem saw peace one day. To end the Hunger Games, once and for all. It was her grandmother's dying wish.
"She was a kind soul, Joshua. She would've loved you." Olivia says, turning to rest her head back onto the seal, before realising they had arrived.
"Well, time to say hello to our fallen city, I'm sure they've missed us." Josh joked, extending his hand out for Olivia Gray to grab.
They took ahold of one another as they entered The Capitol. People applauding and waving at them from all angles.
"Remember to smile!" Their escort reminded them, as the two of them shined their pearly whites in the fakest way possible. "Wave, too!"
The two extended their hands out, waving them proudly at the citizens of Panem. They were Capitol favourites for the past few years, due to winning their games, they both became quite popular with the citizens.
"I hate all this smiling and waving." Joshua uttered through his teeth as he contained a strong smile.
"Don't act like you don't love the attention, Joshy." Olivia responded, muttering whilst she maintained her composure.
Josh rolled his eyes and continued grinning as they walked through the crowd, finally making their way into the building.
"Don't get too comfortable, Liv. We'll be in that room for merely five minutes before we're dragged away into a costume change." Josh stated the facts. They had to get ready for their introduction into the Capitol, and had no time to rest after their long journey.

"This dress is making my butt itchy." Olivia Gray complains, squirming around as her stylist slaps her knee every time she moves. "I swear we spoke about this last time."
"Darling, you have the curves of a goddess and the body of a saint, so please do not make my job any more difficult then it needs to be and suck it up for the night." The stylist warns Olivia, who just rolls her eyes and wriggles around in the dress once more to get it to fit.
"You clean up nice." Joshua walks out in his suit, smiling up at Olivia in her unbearable dress.
Olivia extends out her hand for Josh to grab, which he does as they make their way down to the gate to prepare to enter the Capitol with the other districts.
