Shubman was back in Mumbai and he had gone straight to his apartment. Sara would be coming by evening so he decided to sleep to help that jetlag. He was woken up by bell ringing. He went to open the door and saw Sara standing there smiling widely. Shubman looked at her, concern visible on his face. Her eyes were red and there were dark circles underneath them. She looked extremely tired. Shubman let her in and made her sit on the couch
"What happened to you?" Shubman asked panicking, "we just talked yesterday, you were fine"
"Well I went out with my girls and let's say we ate a lot of ice cream" Sara said sheepishly.
"Seriously? You should take care of yourself. You're going to London day after tomorrow. Will you go like this?"
"I'll be fine Shub. Comeon give me a hug now" Sara said before realising she had a cold. "No no, don't. You'll catch a cold "
"I'll be fine. I'm a cricketer. Come here " Shubman said before pulling her into a hug. He felt her body warm and realised she might also have fever
"You have fever too" Shubman said panicking yet again.
"Oh do l?"
"Yes, oh god. Sit here I'll make soup for you and give you medicine "
"It's fine, you must be tired "
"I'm not tired. Sit here I'll be back"
Shubman made soup for her and brought it to the table along with a tablet and a glass of water.
She tried drinking the soup but her hands were shivering due to weakness hence spilling some soup.
"Give it to me, mai khilata hu" Shubman said taking the spoon from her hand
Shubman felt her the soup slowly, blowing it lightly.
When he had fed her half of the soup, Sara denied eating anymore. He gave her a tablet to eat and after a lot of denials from her and a lot of persistence from him. She finally ate it.
"Come on now, sleep for a while" Shubman said covering her with a blanket in his room
"But I came to meet you. Mai so jaungi to tum kya karoge?"
"I'll watch you sleep. Don't worry about me "
"Are you.."
"Yeah I'm sure. Come on sleep cookie"
Sara slept as Shubman stroked her hair gently. Even after an hour Sara's fever hadn't gone down so Shubman decided to put cold water strips on her forehead. After he had done that, Sara's fever reduced a bit. He went to the kitchen and made coffee for her.
"Cookie, wake up. Have some coffee and medicine " Shubman whispered softly, still stroking her hair. Sara stirred in her sleep hugged Shubman by his waist. Shubman smiled
"Wake up cookie. Come on " Shubman said kissing her hair softly. Sara opened her eyes and smiled lightly. Shubman made her get up and have coffee and medicine. Sara slept again after that, still feeling weak. Luckily after a while, her fever had worn out.
"Sorry shub, I should have been spending time with you but instead, you had to take care of me"
"Dare you say sorry again cookie. I'm not gonna talk to you. I care for you theek hai? Don't think too much" he said kissing her forehead again.
Sara smiled brightly and hugged him.
"You're the bestest boyfriend "
"Really? "
"Yes"
"How many have you had before?" Shubman asked laughing while Sara hit his chest.
"Rude" she mumbled, hugging him again.
"When are you leaving?"
"Day after tomorrow, my flight departs at 5. So I'll leave the house at 2:00"
"How will we meet then?"
"Airport parking?"
"Too risky" Shubman said shaking his head in negative
"Then the only option is I meet you tomorrow and give you a final good-bye"
"Hmm, I'll miss you"
"I'll miss you too"
Sara looked up at him and pecked his lips softly making him blush
"Hahh, I made you blush" Sara said giggling
"Shut up" he mumbled shyly
"Sometimes you're too bold and sometimes you become a shy teenager. Cutie" she said pinching his cheeks
"Theek hai theek hai. You're not getting late now? Get going"
Sara laughed, hugged him one last time and went home.
They both will miss each other but they didn't know that this time being apart will bring a crack in their relationship.
Ok guys, I know I usually update everyday but my school started today and I also have my exams from 6th. I'll still try to update but if I can't please bare with me. Also next chapter might be a fight (not huge but still) . So yeah, that's it. Take care guys
