A crescent moon loomed not too far off the night covered horizon, lighting up a forest with a cliff over looking it.

"Maaan this sucks!" A voice called out atop the cliff, as a Demon with gray skin, a short sleeved suit, and blades extruding from his arms laid back on the rocky ground. "If the boss wants to go get food, he should just do it himself. Lazy prick."

Not too far away from this Demon were two others. One with a large eel extending from his gut, and another covered in eyes across his body. All in similar uniforms to the laying down man.

"I know it's boring waiting for Humans to show..." The eye covered Demon admitted, as each of those eyes seemed to roll simultaneously. "But the boss has other matters first above all else. This is the least we can do."

"Plus he'll kill us!" Two voices seemed to echo from the Demon with the eel in him, from the man himself and the extruding creature.

"That too..." Muttered the eye Demon.

The blade-covered man groaned in annoyance in the presence of his allies, as he glared at both of the Demons with him.

"He's not here! Let's just ditch this spot and say nobody... turned... up..." His voice trailed off as he looked past his two teammates as his eyes widened.

With his many eyes, the all-seeing Demon didn't even need to look behind him, seeing through the eyes in the back of his head a girl exiting the forest behind all three Demons. The orange ponytail of the girl flowed in the night wind, as she held onto two sheathed swords on each side of her.

"Demon Hunter..." The eye covered man hissed, slowly turning around. Tanebi Kanosora slowly walked towards the trio of Demons with a glare in her face, as a smile curled up on the laying down Demon.

"HAHA! Finally!" The bladed man exclaimed in excitement and hype, as the blades in his arms began extending in preparation for a fight. "And a Slayer no less!"

But as the man got off the ground, and observed his slowly approaching opponent, his eyes suddenly widened in recognition.

"Hey... isn't that..."

"Yeah... It is." The eye covered man realized as well, as a smile curled onto his face too. "A little far from home, aren't you?" He called out, as Tanebi said nothing. All she did in response was slowly draw out her two blades. Each being copper in color.

Almost immediately, the eel carrying Demon screamed out, as the eel in his body extruded rapidly towards Tanebi, twisting and turning through the air and ready to bite her. All while the girl kept a calm expression.

"Let's get this started." Was all Tanebi said before taking a deep breath. "I've got places to be."

"Senjuro... I'm so sorry..."

In a more secluded area of the town of Sakurashinmachi, Sekien was found on his knees, bowing over and begging for forgiveness from the younger Rengoku brother after he actually pieced together who it was.

"Kyojuro spoke highly of you so often which makes this mistake even worse even though you both look like eachother but that being said you were still noticeably different by being smaller and I should've realized it was his younger brother and not Kyojuro and-"

"Y-You don't have to ramble, Sekien..." Senjuro interrupted. "It's fine, it really is."

Instantly getting up from the ground, Sekien gasped for air after giving nearly a whole apology in just one breath. "Is it really?"
