we always laugh, that's for sure
but what happens when they leave?
your happiness fades away,
into the wind
hopefully finding another
that needs it more
than you.
maybe the person that left
finds someone else.
finds someone better.
someone you thrive to be.
so you try everything in your power to be like them, even better.
but it never happens.
so you just try to move on.
try to push them to the back of your mind.
but they're always there.
it slowly creeps to the front
until one day,
it jumps at you.
puts you through a spiral of emotions you don't even know how to explain.
the human body is weird, right?
