Today is the day Nathan gets married and Liz changes her last name to Sykes. I was one of the bridesmaid and so was Maddie and a few of Liz's friends from her swim team. I knew exactly how Liz felt, after all I was in her position a few months ago. Liz's bump has grown bigger and it was quite obvious.
"I'm so nervous!" Liz said as I tried to do her makeup. "What if I mess up my vows."
"Relax. Nathan will love for as long as he lives." I consoled her as I finished her eyeliner. "Your makeup is done. I'm going to see Nathan."
I place the make up on the dressing table.I left Liz's room and made my way to Nathan's room. I knocked on the door and made way in. The first in and saw Nathan sweating out of nervousness. The other guys and Niall were chilling on the bed as Nathan perfected his tie.
"Baby Nath is finally getting married!" Max exclaimed as took another sip of beer.
"He's not a baby anymore. He's Daddy Nath." Jay replied making all of us laugh.
"Kate, they're teasing me!" Nathan exclaimed like a five year old.
"Man up! Soon you'll be married. Where's dad?" I asked looking around.
"The parents are outside talking to each other. I'm nervous, what if I mess up?"
"Mate, just chill. Just name a million reasons why you love her and then say 'I do' and you're married." Niall explained as he took a sip of beer.
"Alright, everyone out into the limos." Dad instructed and we all listened to him. "I'd like to speak to Nathan."
I held Niall's hand the whole time till we got to the church. When we arrived, there was a crowd consisting of paparazzi, Jayne Collins, Scooter Braun, Martin, relatives and a few close friends but of course the paparazzi weren't allowed in as it was an invitation only wedding and Nathan hired loads of security to make sure everyone was safe.
I took my spot by the aisle as Liz walked down it and to the aisle and just my luck, Niall was parallel to me. Niall was seducing me, and totally helped me focus (note the sarcasm). Of course Jay was Nathan's best man and the others were groomsmen.They said their vows and said I do. They are officially married.
We made our way to the reception venue. It was a grand hall with chandeliers hanging from above and marble flooring. Guest made their way to a comfortable place in the hall while Nathan and Liz made their to the floor.
Niall and I joined some of the guests and danced. I saw from the corner of my eye Nathan smirking as he danced. I mentally rolled my eyes and we continued to dance for another ten minutes before my feet got sore because of these heels! I knew I should've told her to get flats instead of heels. Well it's too late now.
I made my way to the drinks table and got a cup for my self then headed to Jess's table where Maddie and Jay were as well.
"I can't wait for my turn to get married!" Maddie stated as we watch the newly weds dance. For someone who's heavily pregnant and in heels, she has a lot of energy.
"Soon babe, soon." Jay told her and gave her quick peck on the lips. I tried my best not to gag, childish, I know.
"Good, I'm tired of listening to long conversations about you two being madly in love." I replied, half jokingly.
"Yeah buddy." Niall exclaimed and we high-five.
"Hey guys!" Nathan said as he walked with his arm wrapped around Liz.
"Hello Mr and Mrs Skyes." I replied in a fake posh accent. Nathan rolled his eyes at me.
"Where's the rest of the band?" Liz asked, referring to Jay who was sitting with us and not the others.
"Enjoying the free flow of wine and beer." Jay answered, pointing to the rest of the band who were laughing away and getting drunk.
I noticed that Liz suddenly clutched on to her bump and winced in pain. "Nath, I think I'm going to labour."
A/N: My exams are supposed to be tomorrow but thanks to the haze in Malaysia, I'm on holiday and my exams are postponed to next week! I'm so happy right now,'cause I only started studying four days ago. I'm pretty happy with the number of reads I got over the past week :) THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
