"Ash, come to dada!" Niall encouraged Ashlyn to walk to him. Flynn could already walk but he needs some help balancing but overall he's learning faster than his sister. I was sitting on the couch watching Niall trying his best. Ash just stared at Niall then she sat down with a huge grin. Niall facepalmed then tried to get her to stand. "Dada has a cookie!"
Ashlyn smiled and tried to walk to him to get the cookie but instead of walking on her own, she gripped on to the table and moved as quickly as she can then snatched the cookie. She's just like Niall and his food, no doubt that she's his little girl.
"I bet she'll try to run when she's the cake." I said. "You can separate her from Flynn but you can separate her from food."
"Ma! Up!" Flynn shouted as he tugged my dress. Flynn has definitely an Irish accent but when I'm teaching him how to speak, he becomes British but in the end it becomes Irish and ironically it's the opposite for Ashlyn. I pick him up followed by a kiss on the check.
The twins could say the same words such as ma, da, baby, brother, sister, up but Ashlyn can say cookie while Flynn can say pretty but they are learning to prefect their words.
DING DONG
"Door!" Both of them said at the same time, that has happened a few times before. Those two are more telepathic than Nathan and I will ever be. I opened the door revealing my mum, Nathan, Jess, Liz and Lucas.
"Someone's actually early for a change." I said with a chuckle.
"Shut up." Nathan told me.
"No swearing, Flynn is here." I replied.
"Unca Na!" Flynn exclaimed. "Aunt Jess!"
"That's an achievement." I said, pinching Flynn's cheek.
"That's right Flynn, your favourite uncle is here." Nathan said as he gave Flynn a kiss on the cheek.
"Don't be so full of yourself!" Jess said trailing in behind.
"Nana!" Flynn exclaimed as he saw my mum.
"There's the birthday boy." My mom said "He's really taking after Niall's accent."
"I know, most people are going to mistaken him as a full Irish citezen."
"Where's the birthday girl?" My mum asked.
"With her dad, attempting to walk." I said and gestured to Niall and Ashlyn who are on the floor. "Niall, we've got guest."
"Karen! Nice to see you again!" Niall greeted while coming towards the door. "We've been but trying to get Ashlyn to walk but all she's been doing is stealing my cookies."
"Flynn can walk but needs to work on his balance." I informed my mum.
"So where's the cake?" Jess randomly asked as she inspected the kitchen for any signs of the cake.
"Eleanor is bringing it over. You guys are here an hour early so you're going to have to wait." I explained.
"Are you guys even prepared?" Liz asked as she placed Lucas on the floor.
"No..." I trailed off nervously.
"What? You're feeding the biggest boy band and a sloth. How could you not have food ready?" Jess asked in a 'are you serious?' tone.
"Firstly, my movements are very limited and I have to look after two kids. How do you expect me to get everything ready?" I asked back and gestured to my very obvious baby bump.
"Calm down sis. Theres no need to be so hormonal." Nathan said. "I'm sure mum and Liz will help you."
I just nodded as mum, Liz and Jess went to go prepare food for the twins birthday party. After about an hour, the guys arrived just in time.
"The sass master is in the house!" Louis belted as he came in with Eleanor and their one year old son, Tommy, in his arms. Flynn looked a Louis and then made eye contact with Tommy making his face lit up. Flynn makes a gesture to go down to play with his friend.
"Aww.... Those two can be Nouis junior." Niall commented as the two rushed off to play.
"Nouis junior?" Harry asked as he came in,alone. "Boo bear, I'm hurt."
"Well first of all, you don't have a kid to make Larry junior but Niall does therefore making Nouis junior."
"Hey Kate, where do I put the cake?" Eleanor asked as she tried to find a clear space to place the cake.
"Put it in the kitchen. We'll wait for Zayn and Perrie, Liam and Danielle, Melissa and her boyfriend to arrive then we'll cut the cake." I explained to Eleanor who nodded in agreement. Soon after I said that, Liam and Danielle came in with their daughter, Reese, who had her mother's looks and her father's charms. Turns out Danielle was nearly three months pregnant on their wedding day.
"Hello." Liam greeted as he walked in. For some reason, Ashlyn was very fond of Reese and Reese was fond of Ashlyn. Liam placed Reese next to Ashlynn and both their faces lit up.
"They're just like their dads." Danielle commented as the two played with each other.
"NIAM JUNIOR BUT GIRL VERSION!" Louis exclaimed for the whole house to hear.
"Oh great, first Nouis junior and now Niam junior? I feel so left out." Harry said and threw his hands in the air out frustration.
"It's okay mate, I'm still childless." Zayn comforted as he came in with Perrie by his side.
"Zayn, when we both get kids we're going make them Zarry junior." Harry declared as he placed his hands on Zayn's shoulders and he nodded.
"I'm here!" Melissa announced as she came in alone.
"Where's Kendall?" I asked her as she was here alone.
"He has an interview with the rest of his band." She explained and I just nodded as I was glad that she could make it. "Now we can cut the cake."
Eleanor came out of the kitchen with a two tier cake that was half pink and half blue. I noticed that Ashlyn's face lit up when her eyes landed on the cake. She got up and started walking on her own towards the cake.
"Niall look!" I said tugging on his shirt. Niall's eyes widen as he fumbled to get his phone out. "She's just like you. Just about nothing can separate her from food."
"It's obvious that she loves the cake." Mel commented. I picked up Ashlyn and Niall picked up Flynn as we all gathered around the cake. We sang then I cut the cake since they were too handle even a plastic knife. Niall and I placed them in their highchairs and we tried to give them cake at the same.
Ashlyn immediately crushed the cake whilst Flynn grabbed a handful into his mouth. Nathan tried to take a picture but Ashlyn threw a piece of cake to his phone.
"Well someone isn't a fan of pictures." Nathan commented as he wiped the cake off his phone with his shirt. Ashlyn just grinned at him and continue to eat.
We wall hung out for a sometime before deciding to end the party as the twins were getting tired. I was forced to sit on the couch as everyone cleaned the place. I wanted to help but since I'm six months pregnant, I sat down.
I began to think, it has been over a year since I got married, found out my twin brother was none other than Nathan Sykes of The Wanted, and I gave birth to two children.
"You seem lonely. A penny for your thoughts?" Niall asked as he joined me on the couch with his hand on shoulder.
"I'm probably the luckiest girl alive. I married to you and had your kids and my twin brother is in The Wanted. Now I'm pregnant again."
"Well you agreed to this." Niall stated.
"I never said I was complaining." I smirked.
