Chapter 11

(Al Haitham POV)

I was carrying Kaveh, walking down a hall to who knows where. Great, this is great. I was trying to ignore Kaveh's persistent complaints, as he dug his fingernails into my shoulders.

 "You better not drop me." He mumbled while moving closer to my chest. 

 "You'll be fine, I won't drop you alright." I spoke softly. It was probably very late now. We should find somewhere to rest.

(1 hour later) 

After some searching, we found a suitable place to rest for a little while. We lied down on the floor and tried to sleep for a bit. (30 minutes later) I looked over to Kaveh, I hadn't been able to sleep at all. He was asleep but appeared to be shivering, it is cold in here. I moved closer to him, took my coat off and placed it over the both of us. After a while I felt my eyes getting heavy and I fell asleep.

(Kaveh POV)

(5 hours later)

 I woke up to something grabbing around my waist. My face flushed a bright shade of red. Haitham was holding onto me in his sleep. I was pressed up against him, with his coat over the both of us. I tried to sit up, but I woke up Haitham. Damn it!

 "Kaveh, don't get up, you're hurt." Haitham mumbled, slightly pulling me down a bit.

 "But we need to leave.." I said moving to look at him.

"Fine." He said while sitting up.

He sat up and helped me get up as well, he checked my arm and retied my cape around my arm. We got up and started moving. I think the blood loss is getting to me, I have a really bad headache.

(Haitham POV)

I was really worried about Kaveh. He has been acting strange, he has been bumping into things and walking weirdly. 

"SIR! I FOUND THEM!" A man called out.

I looked around to see him standing at a door at the end of the hall. THE MATRA! I picked up the pace, but what was that. My head spun around to see the building collapsing in on itself. I started to run, wait Kaveh! Kaveh was stumbling along I tried to run back to get him, but I was grabbed by someone.

 I tried to get out of their grasp, but it was too late I was pulled up the stairs, and outside. Kaveh was... he. I- they. I turned around to see who the hell grabbed me. Cyno..? How could he leave him! We Both could've... 

"Why didn't you let me save him." Was all I could manage to say between my tears.
