Kaveh Pov:
I woke up to Tighnari siting down next to me and placing a bowl on the table.
"Ahh, good you're awake." Tighnari smiles at me. "Tighnari? Oh! Where's Alhaitham?!" I exclaim. "He will be here later tonight, he's very worried about you Kaveh."
This is soooo boring, I have been sitting in this bed for the past 9 hours! Nothing has happened! *Knock* Hmm? Finally, something exciting! "Tighnari?"
"Yes Kaveh, it's me, Cyno and Alhaitham are also here. Can we come in?" I sit up in my bed before responding.
"Yes!" Tighnari walks in first followed by Cyno and Haitham.
"How are you feeling." Tighnari says while placing a hand on my head. "I'm alright, my chest still really hurts though, and my arm." I know why my chest hurts but not my arm. Haitham flinched when I mentioned my arm.
"Alright, me and Cyno want to go check on Collei, Alhaitham will stay here with you, okay?" Tighnari says while grabbing Cyno's hand and pretty much dragging them out of the room. I turn to look at Haitham, he's already looking at me.
"You know something." He starts to frown. "I'm sorry, it was my fault. I should have saved you, I'm sorry." He began to cry as he spoke.
"Haitham? What happened? I don't know if I can forgive you, I don't know what happened." I was struggling to talk. Seeing Haitham cry, I haven't seen him like this since the first day we met in the Akademiya.
"I left you... I could've saved you, but I didn't, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." I sat up fully and pulled him into a hug. "I forgive you, I'm still not sure exactly what happened, but I think you having this much of a reaction means you are actually sorry."
He held me tighter when I say that.
"What's that supposed to mean. I'm always very expressive." I laugh at this remark. "Sure Haitham, you are definitely known for always expressing your emotions." I let go of him. He reaches to grab my hands when Tighnari and Cyno walk back in.
"Hey we're back." Tighnari says. "Did you miss us?" Cyno adds. Tighnari elbows them while keeping the same happy smile. "Tighnari I have a question." Haitham asks. Tighnari only nods in responses. "Is he able to walk? A fair distance as well?" Tighnari gives him a questioning look.
"Well, I'm not sure, he may possible be able to walk a little bit." Haitham nods. "Alright can you tell me when you think he is able to walk back to Sumeru city." Tighnari smiles before nodding.
"Of course, Alhaitham, you really want him to come home that desperately?" Haitham looks away from Tighnari to me, he has his normal nonchalant expression, but I can see the little bit of red forming on his cheeks.
"He uh- He still owe me rent." Haitham mumbles.
