Alhaitham Pov:
Can she just leave? Nilou came all the way back to my house, now she is trying to 'cheer me up'. She's not doing the best job. I sigh and place my head in my hands.
"Thank you Nilou, but I am truly alright. I just need some rest." I say forcing a smile.
"Oh okay! You can go rest I will get you something to eat!" She said while smiling and turning to the door.
"I will be back soon!"Ugh. I know she is trying to be nice but it's not working. Food would be nice though, I haven't eaten. Neither has Kaveh- Ugh. I need to stop thinking about him! I stood up grabbed a book and headed to my room. I got changed and laid down.
(45 minutes later)
I had finally started to go to sleep when someone knocked on my door... ugh, what's the time? I get up and walk over to my door.
"What do you want Ka-" I started when I realized that it was Nilou.
"Oh, sorry Nilou, I thought you were someone else."She smiled.
"It's okay Hai Hai!" She beamed.
"I got you some food!".
"Ah thank you. What is it?" I asked while we walked out of my room to the dinner table.
"It's soup!" She says while placing it down on the table.
"It's good for you!" What..? I have seen this before. I close my eyes for a few seconds. When I open them I see... Kaveh? What, why is he here?
"Haitham! I didn't make you my favorite food for you to just stare at it!" Kaveh began to shout. My head began to spin and I was sat at a table with Nilou... I looked down at the food before me and, it is his favorite food. But he isn't here anymore.
