I put my sketchbook and pencils down on the floor, when i'm done with drawing Lando's perfect features again. His cute face when he fell asleep on the comforter on my balcony was too pretty for me not to draw him.

I stand up, walk over to him and softly rub his right cheek with my thumb, making him shuffle and open his eyes. His eyes lights up immediately, a gentle smile setting on his face. I peck his lips when he mumbles a "you're so pretty" under his breath, while I pull his hand a bit, making him stand up on his bare feet, a shiver running through his body.

We quickly run inside where the heater was, closing the balcony door shut.

After some minutes of cuddling on the sofa, Lando spoke up in a husky, deep voice making my spine shiver.

"Berry, you know I have to go this weekend, right?" he dugs his face even deeper in my chest. I chuckle and nod my head, while whispering a "yeah" under my breath.

Even though I know he has to go in Saudi Arabia for his race and that his job is probably the most important thing in the world, I don't want him to leave. I want to be wrapped in his arms the whole night and wake up to the pretty face of his.

His long eyelashes, that are most definitely at least two times longer than mine and his mushy eyebrows which he could carve out a bit, but I like them either way. They suit his face perfectly.

"I don't want to leave you alone..." he mumbles against my collarbone.
"Why not? I've been living here for forever, Lando." I laugh at him making his head jump a bit, due to my moving.

"I don't know what you're capable of." he looks away, as he sits straight up, looking serious.
"You saw them, didn't you?" my voice raises a bit, non intentionally. He just keeps staring past me, like he didn't even hear what I said.

"Why does everyone who sees my scars think I'll just kill myself?!" I stand up and stomp to the bathroom, shutting the door after me.

I walk to the mirror who sat on the wall above the sink. Staring at myself in, there was a tear that slowly ran down my cheek and fell on the floor.

A soft knock interrupted my thoughts and the burning feeling in my throat. The feeling where I thought my whole body will explode.

"Pretty girl?" a mumbling voice was behind the door. It sounded ashamed of himself at least.
"Yeah?" I whisper back.
I hear a sigh, "can I come in, please?".

I turn around and walk to the door, turning the knob in the left.
(half of you don't know you lefts and rights: <left, right>)

Lando was standing there, but embraced me in a hug immediately.
"I'm sorry, Berry. That was inappropriate from me to say. I trust you. That sentence really wasn't my intention..." he started rumbling but I pulled away from the hug and kissed him on the lips.

"Lando, stop. It's okay."
"Would you like to come with me this weekend? To watch me race?" he looked at me and rubbed my eyebrow softly.

I smile instantly, "Lando, yes, yes of course! But, what will people say?" my smile fades away.
"Babe, we don't care. They can say anything they want, we'll stay together, okay?" he pecks my lips and hugs me again.
"Okay." I mumble against his neck and feel his breath down my neck.

It was already Thursday, and my bags were all packed. The only thing missing was Lando by my side. He had to get his things from his apartment and hasn't been by my side for five minutes (i am going insane over him).

My boss gave me a pass, so I can be absent these two days.

Knocking was coming from my front door, giggles left my mouth, because I knew it was Lando. I open the door and let him in, helping with the suitcase and bags. I swear he had even more things than me.

"We're leaving in three hours." he ruffles my hair, making me slap his shoulder jokingly. He just snorted in response.

I check the time, seeing it's only twelve, so I assume we have a taxi reservation at 3? Yeah, that would be about right.

"Cook something, please! I'm starving."
