"Baby you understand that I want to be with you, give you my love, share my everything? Everything you heard over the call was about a promotion, honey." I cup her face, looking in her green eyes. Her waterline was filled with tears, alcohol in her blood, probably making her understand things differently.

"Lando, I thought you didn't want me, I thought we wouldn't speak again." a tear runs down her cheek, but I catch it with my thumb and rub gentle circles into her skin.

"I can't go a day without you, how could I survive a whole lifetime." I chuckle darkly, knowing I'd lose myself if I lost her. My pretty girl.

I woke up next to a warm body moving next to me, barely opening my eyes and seeing the light shine through the window directly onto my face. Amber shuffled again, then turned to me and opened her eyes.

"I don't want to go to work." she groaned, making me laugh slightly, knowing I had to a race to attend this weekend.
"I don't want to leave this week." I sigh in response, Amber getting out of bed to get ready.

"Do you want anything to eat after you come from work? I can get a takeout if you'd like." I grin at her, so she leans down to kiss my lips.
"Ugh, your morning breath." she fake gags and I slap her ass when she turns around, only earning a glare.

"Some Chinese would be nice, what do you think?" she smiles while grabbing her work clothes and putting some skincare or whatever you call it on her face.
"The usual?" I ask.
"The usual."

Driving to Amber's work place, I see Daniel in front of the building, so I park my car and go greet him, waiting for Berry to show up.

After about ten minutes of catching with Danny, her gorgeous face showed through the door. She lent in to give me a kiss, Daniel moving his eyes away from out lips touching, which I think was normal.
(no way i just spelt gorguos right)

"Hey Lan, hey Daniel! Shit talking about me, huh?" she jokes, but I shake my head with a laugh. The thing wasn't even funny, yet I was giggling at it like a thirteen years old teenager who got their first kiss.

I'd love to stay here a bit more to chat with Danny, but there was food waiting in the car and I really don't want to eat cold chicken.

When we came home, actually my apartment we unpacked the food and both ate in silence. I didn't know if we were okay, there was this uncomfortable tension siting between us and I think neither of us liked it.

I cleared my throat wanting to start a conversation, but for the first time I didn't know how. It was like everything is falling apart in our relationship and I don't even know why, she probably doesn't even know.

"Why did you wait so long to ask me?" she straight up shot and it made my breath hitch, because I genuinely don't know.

It's not that I was scared, but I just couldn't, it didn't feel right, didn't feel normal. This sounded so much worse that intended, but it was the truth.

"I wasn't sure if I wanted this." I motioned between us, quickly realising I fucked up real bad. Her eyes caught mine, abruptly standing up and I could see she's about to shout at me.

"Are you fucking serious?! You have sex with me, tell me to come with you to see you race not caring what anyone says and say "I love you", but you weren't fucking sure if you wanted to actually be something?! You know, I hope you crash!" her voice was more and more high pitched and it was constantly raising, she obviously couldn't see straight anymore as big tears ran down her face.

I knew she didn't mean it but I sure took it seriously. It hurt me damn hard.

After I stomped out of his apartment and shut the door behind me, I've been laying in my bed, curled up in a ball crying my eyes out.

I fucking hate myself, why did I say something like that?!
I hope you crash. I don't want him to crash, I was worried.

I know he went on a drive, I heard his McLaren roaring when he drove out the garage about forty minutes ago.
I was guilty for this and I won't be able to take it if anything happens to him.

That same moment an unknown number called me.

"Hello?"
