I want a sweet love. A long walks on the beach love. A milkshake for two love. A sharing jackets, skipping classes, wishing I was with you love. I want kisses on the cheek. Dancing in the street. Dandelions in the air. You're somehow always there love.

I want a fun love. A sunglasses at night love. A dancing in the mirror love. A painting your face, not able to replace, the friendship in our love. I want jumping in the pool. Singing too loud. Playing with your hair. Life's better with you love.

I want a hot love. A call each other by last names love. A suit and tie luxuray love. A arm around my waist love. A say I'm yours, baby I'm sure, you're all I want love. I want your hand on my thigh. Us two eye to eye. I know you really care. My heart's forever yours love.

But most of all...

I want a forever love. A house on a hill love. A car and two kids love. A long nights, big fights, making up with you love. I want car drives down backroads. The same old same old. Hold you when you're cold. Till death do us part love.

I want you, love. I want you forever. I want you for now. I want you like candy, sweet and innocent. I want you like fire, mystery and intrigue. I want you like everything. I want you like nothing. I just freaking want you.*

*I wrote this poem a year ago, back when I was longing for a relationship. Now I have a girlfriend and decided to add on the last paragraph you see. It was not in the original poem, but I felt like it belonged. Thank you for reading :)
