you can't leave me now
not when i've built a future for us in my head
when i've pictured lying next to you in bed
and dancing in the kitchen
you push me against the cabinets
and kiss me like you mean it
you can't walk away
i need you to stay
to hold me and sway in the moonlight
to talk to on and on all night
and say things that make me cave
and wish for it to always be this way
you can't let this beautiful dream
this horrible magnificent fantasy
always be just that.
if you imagined it too
you'd understand
just how hard i've fallen for you
and how beautiful
we could be
me, right next to you.
