You were walking through the gates of Cross Academy and you saw that Kaien was waiting for you. As he saw you a huge smile spread across his face.

"(Your Name)! You're finally here! I've been waiting on you!" He said, loudly while waving his arms around like a child. You laughed and said,

"Kaien! Calm yourself." As you got closer to him you smiled and hugged him by wrapping your arms around his neck. He was slightly surprised by this and it took him a minute to process the situation. He laughed and hugged you back. You let him go and said,

"Kaien Cross. Long time no see." He smiled and said,

"Yes. It has been far too long. Shall I give you a tour?" You smiled gently and said,

"That would be lovely." He smiled and said,

"How long have you been in England?" You were shocked at his question and you said,

"O-Oh. I do have a British accent. I've been in England for three years. I've just come back though." He smiled and said,

"You're so easy to read (Your name)." You nodded and said,

"You've always been able to read me like a book. Even since we were little." He smiled gently and held his hand out towards you.

"Shall we?" He said, tilting his head slightly. You took his hand and nodded. As Kaien showed you around the academy you noticed the little things that have changed about him. A girl walked up to you and Kaien, saying,

"Hello, Father. Is this the new teacher?" Your eyes widened and you murmured,

"F-Father?" Kaien looked at you and said,

"Oh, yes. (Your Name). This is my adopted daughter, Yuki. Yuki, this is indeed the new teacher. Her name is (First Name) (Last Name)." You smiled and said,

"Hello, Yuki. It's nice to meet you. I think we will be really great friends. Like your father and myself." Yuki tilted her said and said,

"Father, where is (Your Name) gonna stay? There are no teacher rooms available." You looked at Kaien, wide eyed, and said,

"What?!? Where am I supposed to sleep?!? You've always been so vague, Cross!" Kaien pouted and said,

"Wait, (Your Name)! Just let me explain. Because we are so close I was gonna say until there are more staff rooms available, you can stay with me in my personal quarters. I could sleep on the couch and you in my bed for the time being." Your eyes widened further as you said,

"No way in hell! I can't take your bed away from you!" Kaien smiled gently and said,

"It's fine. You need to sleep somewhere too." You nodded reluctantly. Kaien smiled gently and took your bags. You followed him and smiled when he glared at a rock that made him fall. It was curfew when you got to his home.

"(Your Name)? You seem different." Kaien said, placing your bags down in his room. You looked at him and said,

"I am different. So are you. Aren't you, Headmaster Cross?"
