Long Time No See (Headmaster Kaien Cross x Reader)

Surprises

You were walking down the hall in the Academy and  you saw Kaien. He smiled at you and said,

"Hey you." You chuckled and hummed, saying,

"Hey." Looking you up and down, Kaien wrapped his arms around your waist and pressed his lips to your own, quickly. Sighing, you pulled away and he became confused, quickly.

"Are you mad at me?" He asked, looking concerned. Sighing, you shook your head and said,

"Of course not." 

"Then what's wrong?" 

"Hm. It's nothing, Kaien." I replied, pulling away from his embrace and taking his glasses off of his face. 

"Eh? (Y/N)! You know I can't see without my glasses!" As he went to reach for the glasses, I pulled his face to mine by his scarf and pressed my mouth to his own, gently. 

"Hn." 

"You can see, just not close by." I countered, making sure his lips stayed touching my own and pulling him closer to me.

'My hormones are all messed up. I need to control myself.' I thought to myself, as Kaien's arms wrapped around my waist again and he pulled me against him.

"(Y/N)..." He whispered, pressing me against the school wall and nuzzling my face. 

"Kaien...st-" I was cut off by his kiss and he made his feelings for me known. 

"Hm." I hummed, pulling away from him and burying my face in his neck. Letting him go, I pulled away from him and he grabbed my wrist, saying,

"Why are you avoiding me?!?" 

"Kaien I-" I started, getting cut off by him again,

"Seriously (Y/N)! Have I done something wrong?" 

"No." I replied, tears almost rolling down my cheeks and he sighed, asking,

"Then why?" 

"Kaien, I'm pregnant." I blurted out, seeing no other choice and his eyes widened, making him stutter,

"Y-You're what?" 

"Kaien, I'm-"

"Pregnant! You're pregnant!" He laughed, cutting me off and wrapping his arms around my waist, making me squeak. Picking me up, he hugged me and spun me around, saying,

"We're pregnant!" 

"Ah! Kaien, you're making me dizzy!" I giggled, placing my hands on his shoulders and resting my forehead against his own. 

"Pregnant..." He mumbled, the smile never leaving his face and placing me onto my feet, his eyes full of childlike excitement. 

"Are you quite done, Kaien?" I asked, grabbing his hand and intertwining his fingers with mine. 

"Heh. Not quite, but I'll be calm for the time being." He replied, pulling me down the hall and outside. Then, down to our now shared home. 

Kali greeted us by the door and meowed at us when we walked in. Smiling down at her, I grabbed her and whispered,

"He knows...Now what?" Putting her down, she meowed and her eyes sparkled, knowingly. Kaien looked at me and hummed, saying,

"Something you wanna share with the class, darling?" He put Kali on the table and gave me a knowing look. Sighing, I put my hand on the cat and said, forwardly,

"I order you, show yourself...Mason." Chuckling, the little black cat turned into the man that swore to protect my child and Kaien looked at him, unswayed. 

"Mason, huh?" Kaien asked, looking at him and holding a hand out to him, saying,

"Kaien Cross." Mason took his hand and shook it, saying,

"Yes, I've heard. Nice surprise, seeing you so...unfazed." Kaien chuckled and shrugged, saying,

"Yes, well, I guess my hunter senses aren't as dull as everyone says they are. When my love there introduced you to me as 'Kali' I knew you weren't a normal cat." 

"WHAT?!?" I yelled, making him jump and look at me, wide eyed.

"You knew it wasn't a normal cat and you didn't say anything!" I pouted, pointing an accusing finger at him and he chuckled, saying,

"Neither did you." 

"Huh?" I questioned, keeping my eyes to the ground and he smiled. 

"So hypocritical." Kaien teased, lifting my chin and Mason commented,

"The two of you are quite comical." 

"Please disappear for awhile, Mason." I commanded, glaring at him and causing him to smirk, asking,

"Is that an order, My Lady?" 

"Yes." I replied, without hesitance and he disappeared from sight, leaving no trace of himself behind. 

"Kaien..." I called to him, wrapping my arms around his neck and pressing my mouth to his.

"Ewww! I did NOT need to see that!!" A voice yelled from the house doorway, causing Kaien to pull away from me and snap his head to the door. Yagari...

Glaring at him, I sighed and growled, 

"I'm gonna kill him." Kaien grabbed me by the waist and stopped me from strangling him. 

"(Y/N)!" Kaien laughed, pulling me away from Yagari and holding me close to him. 

"Woah, Woah, Woah! Bad (Y/N)." Yagari said, holding his hands up and laughing with Kaien. Sighing, I relaxed against my fiance and commented,

"I hate you both."
