Yuki's Point of View
I was waiting on (Y/N) so that we could head out to get our hair and makeup done. She was on the verge of making us late. I heard her footsteps, running towards me, and when she got to me, she panted,
"Okay. I'm ready." Chuckling, we went into town and got our hair done first. As we were sitting in those chairs (Y/N) told me of how her and Headmaster Cross met. She told me how they grew up together and how she felt about him since they were very young.
"I've always loved him. Having to leave for so long was horrible." (Y/N) said, sighing and looking at the ground as the hairdresser listened in on our conversation.
"But (Y/N) you're. . .ya know. Couldn't you have just waited for someone else to love? Someone like you." I asked, not trying to be rude and at the same time trying to understand.
"Heh. Someone like me. . .Neither side wants me. The aristocrats only want to use me for breeding and the association only wants me for work. Not exactly something to look forward to. But Kaien loves me and has loved me for always being myself." She replied, making eye contact with me and smiling softly. Her eyes flashed red and I chuckled, making her giggle as well. She wasn't craving blood, she was just trying to ease my mind and cut the tension.
The next place we went was to get our makeup done and I was more at ease leaving my adopted father in her hands. Due to the makeup artist's whining, we didn't talk much and (Y/N) looked ecstatic. When she was finished, (Y/N) looked amazing and I was excited to see her in her dress.
An hour later we got to the bridal suit and (Y/N) looked at her dress, running a hand over it.
"Yuki, I know you're nervous leaving Kaien with vampires, especially seeing as I'm a pure blood. But I do-"
"(Y/N), I trust you with Headmaster Cross. I know you wouldn't hurt him. Ever. I do still have one question."
"What's on your mind?"
"Will you turn him one day?"
She looked at me and frowned, sighing,
"Not if I can help it. But I know. . .I can't live without him. So, one day I probably will. I'm sorry."
"It isn't your fault. I know he's been asking."
"That he has."
"Well, get your dress on. Don't want to be late for your own wedding."
As I went to leave, she called after me,
"Yuki."
". . ."
"Thank you. For trusting me with him."
Smiling softly, I nodded and left her to get changed.
