Kaien's POV

I had changed into my regular clothes and went into the room Yagari was recovering in. I saw that he was sitting up, clutching onto his chest. I placed his food onto the bedside table, saying,

"In vampire territory only vampires are allowed. It's in Kaname's hands now. He has control of the Night class. Even I, the Headmaster, cannot interfere." Yagari kept his eyes on me as he said,

"It may be fine as the Headmaster, but I wanna know how the hunter inside you feels." I sighed and said,

"I'm going to leave the food here for you." I began to walk away as he said,

"That's it, huh?" I kept my back to him as I said,

"This is what I can say....Yuki as well as Zero are not vampires." Closed the door and walked to my office. (Y/N) was sitting down on one of my couches drinking water with blood tablets in it. I stood in front of the window in my office and sighed. I took off my glasses, closed my eyes, and held my head. I opened my eyes and looked out of the window. (Y/N) looked at me and said,

"Hey. How's Yagari?" I didn't look at her as I said,

"He can sense the trouble in the vampire world. I'm guessing you can too?" She chuckled and said,

"I am a Pure Blood, after all." I kept my gaze outside the window. As (Y/N) gasped, quietly, and said,

"Zero." I glanced at her and said,

"What?" She stood up and said,

"I smell the Kiryu boy's blood." I felt that a Pure Blood's life was taken. (Y/N) sensed it as well and she said,

"Shizuka Hio." Before Yuki made it into the room where Zero was I got Yagari to take him somewhere where he wouldn't attack anyone. I stood in that room and (Y/N) did too. Her head on my shoulder as I said,

"Hey." Yuki walked into the room and said,

"What are you doing here Headmaster? (Y/N)? Where's Zero? Where did he go?" I looked away from Yuki and pushed up my glasses, saying,

"Ah, well I'm afraid that he got hurt. I asked Yagari to take him to the association medical clinic."  Yuki held her hands to her chest as she said,

"Was he hurt that badly?" I looked at her and placed a hand on (Y/N)'s waist, saying,

"Don't worry. It's just a precaution."

Time Skip to next day

Yuki came into my office and said,

"When will he be coming back?" I tuned and looked a her, saying,

"Oh, I don't think that he will be gone for too long." I smiled and said,

"It's just Zero's so eager to be back that he's not getting enough rest! So, I'm thinking they should keep him there for a little bit longer!" She still looked upset. I sighed, softly, and said,

"How about we go pay him a visit later?" Yuki seemed surprised by this and she smiled, saying,

"Alright." I looked away from her and she said,

"I was wondering...Did you know about...." I looked out my window again and said,

"Hmm?" Yuki continued,

"About Maria? I mean Shizuka Hio." I glanced at her and sighed, saying,

"No I didn't. I'm ashamed of myself. A precious student of mine was in danger and I wasn't able to do a thing about it." Yuki sighed and said,
